Engine and gearbox sound really sweet and in tune for 410000kms! My -84 300D has 380000. But your speedo shows only 5 km/h wrong? My speedo is at 114km/h at 100 haha it revs alot! (manual) Cheers from Sweden!

Is it a standart 300D, OM617 without turbo? In specs I read, that it runs to 100km/h in 17.5 sec, and you made it in 15 sec. What is your secret?! ))) Actually, I'm going to buy W123 300D next Spring, and it is very interesting for me! Thank you!
i drive it only the weekend :) i not have the budget for drive in daily, i drive more than 40000 km per years ;) The fuel consumption of the car on highway is the 11-12l/100km :/
When this enigine was produced, they made it for economy. But today 12l of diesel fuel is not so economical. :) But it is alredy a piece of history! Do you feel comfortable with his power and dynamic on the road and in the city traffic?
The 88hp of the car is perfect on all roads exept twisty road for automatic.I drive with 5 people on highway and no problem to maintain 120km/h(noisy at this speed).The torque is impressive for 88hp
