i also do some product reviews and comparisons time to time as i love to share the cool gadgets that catch my eye
in this video i show you guys how to remove and upgrade the old shifter gear knob for your w203
i also show a few different types of shifter knobs that you can find on ebay amazon and even aliexpress and other websites on the net
its just a matter of playing with the key words of what you are looking for and you will find something
whether it be auto or manual shifter you can find a knob for it..and im pretty sure an auto knob can fit on a manual also
as long as it doesnt have the shift pattern on it or you change the symbol on the top of the shifter, then im sure you can use it
in this case the gear knob i upgraded to is a manual one designed specifically for the manual w203
with the shift pattern already shown on top of the knob
there are also different designs of the knob i bought from the same seller

even for different makes and models
so take a look
i also wanted to point out that you can even buy the same style gear knob i have but with an led light which lights up the symbols on the top of the gear knob
so you will be able to see R ! 2 3 4 5 6 lit up in the colour you want ie. red blue green etc,,
you will find them in his ebay store
its very easy to swap your gear knob
and is a must if you love your interior and want it to stand out
hence why i did mine
