I can’t change menu when the car is on works perfectly when only the ignition is on but when started i sticks with malfunctions menu… what am i doing wrong
It depends on your exact model year. The time can either be set automatically through the GPS or it can be set manually in the Comand. The clock is not set in the dash cluster itself.
If I change the multi-function display unit to km does everything (odometer, trip computer, fuel economy, speedometer) go to metric units or just the speedometer? And do the navigation system and climate control go metric as well?
Hi there I have a 2001 Mercedes s320 and I have the function for the mirrors to fold in when I lock the car with the key fob I have this function turned on in the car but it doesn’t work so just wondered if you had any idea why not please
Selfmade LeeM There is no select/ok button. There is only up/down and left/ right on the steering wheel and a reset button which you can see to the right of the cluster. The knob on the left hand side is the light dimmer switch.
Hi dude...for.some.reason my side mirrors dont open or fold.when locking and inlocking..it works few mins after...what the menu setting help..also when reversing i want mirrors to tilt down..how can this be activated..

Turan Huseynli Your time and date is set automatically by the satellite connection. I guess your GPS antenna is not functioning. 2. It is not easily possible to retrofit the comfort option if your vehicle doesn't already have it.
Turan Huseynli You should be able to see if you are receiving any satellites on the unit itself without diagnostics. 2. Does your car have memory seats?
The 2000 s500 does not come with auto exit wheel rising feature etc. Also does not have the auto fold mirrors when lock and unlock. Only s600 has it in those early years.
Hi. I have just bought a 2000 reg S Class 320 CDi W220 but cannot get the the clock top display to the bottom right next to the PS mode. I have checked the GPS system and the clock is fine there. Can anyone help please?
The time is usually set by the GPS signal so if that is not working properly for you then the vehicle may not have time configured at all. Check in the comand system (radio) and see if the time is correct in there.
@@UpsideDownFork Yes, the correct time is there, but just not showing up in front of me on the dash. My father said he used to see it there, then someone may have pressed something and it went away. We tried for 2 hours looking at the manual and could not figure out how to get the time back up there on the dash...
