Thanks for this information, I still use my W124 E320 1995 and need change the wire harness. And the problem of my Benz is the idle up and down when the first starting engine. This is the great video for me, very helpfully. 👍👌

I am just starting to remove my wiring harness ('03 C230 Kompressor). I had something happen at the starter solenoid and caused a small fire which melted the insulation off several wires in the vicinity. It looks a bit of a mess but I should be able to trace it out and replace each wire or segments of it. Going to be a big job though.

I wish there was someone in Australia that can do it.

I just had mine replaced and and by someone who used to work for mercedees. So, now my emgine light is on and my car won't start rate away bjt it starts just takes a one, two, and three start. Also, seems when I drive in a low gear it sometimes switches to D1. And my eco won't work. I had another place look at it and they said they can't do much for it. So, what do u think I should do?.

This is great, but you gotta tell us how to dissassmble each connector and replace the wires that are attached, plus you gotta tell us where to find new plugs and connectors, and the wiring diagram.

We have a melted connector that we'd like to repair; we've got the connector from Mercedes, do you know where we can find the pins?
