Current state of my Friendship 7 instrument panel recreation as of July 2024. This work in progress is now on it's way to Goddard Space Flight center for a demo as part of their STEM program.
The current software has the ability to set the lamp state to correlate to actual timing of the flight and correspond to the audio. The entire 5 hours of mission audio is configured to play (broken into segments triggered by different switches). Beyond a demonstration, I've not yet programmed that actual timed script.
I love listening to the mission audio. It's as exciting and engaging (to me at least) as any action adventure. Plus I discover something new every time I listen.
