Hey everybody! In this video we install a vortech supercharger on a 2004 Mercury Marauder and show you a dyno comparison between a screwcharger and a centrifugal supercharger. Thanks for watching!
don't hate on the vortex it needs to be paired with a built motor to get the maximum from them you need to up the compression and rev it by upping the compression you will give it the responsiveness it needs and it will ultimately breathe longer then a twin-screw would witch is why they will rev longer and not flat line
Hello from Bemidji, cool to see a big MN channel! I agree. I have a 200,000 mile excellent running 2006 4.6 2v had since new. Ive only done new dual exhaust so far. I'm interested into a daily turbo setup and Im wondering what you think? I'm keeping this car its sentimental so a new motor is next anyway js
Wished I could find a mechanic that knows his stuff in this so I could slowly fix my 08 grand marquis up to mild running daily that sounds nice and looks nice
Just found ur channel. Subscribed. Also noticed I could drive to ur shop in 11hrs. Doing a frame off on my 03 marauder and would eventually love a dyno tune by someone with experience on these cars
This is a great lesson for everyone looking at random supercharger/turbo kits for your car on ebay. Always talk to your mechanic! It's not that easy! Not shaming the man who requested this build, everything came out great, but it's a good lesson for the inexperienced car nerds like me who want to go fast as easy as possible.
I was going to get one of those, 15k with 41k on it, but someone stole it off the dealership lot, they recoverd it but the damage was so much that I didn't even want it, even tho the dealership was fixing everything
