We rejoin the TNT Marine Center rigging crew, as the Mercury Racing 565's are fitted with new motor mounts and the starboard engine is lowered into the engine room of the Cigarette 38 Top Gun. This video puts us right inside the engine room with the skilled TNT technicians, as they carefully secure mounts and achieve perfect shaft alignment through the Mercury Racing ITS transom assembly, in preparation for mounting the Bravo XR drives.

Good evening Stu, this is John Lundgren from Saint Joseph,Michigan I know it's been way too long since we have talked, but my life is still crazy I'm now living with my 87 year mother as her Chef and her Driver and we rest of the family are trying desperately to get her in a assisted living community and she is driving me insane but she's my Mother and there is no one else that's available to do what I do for my Mother so I'll be waiting for all the next Videos and I'm now 61. I'm praying that by the time I hit 67 I'll be on my way to Italy to pick up my dream Yacht. Hey Stu my dream Yacht in Italy is up for sale at only 3.2 million the reason no one has seen this boat is because it's been used in an Italian Charter Business I'm taking about the only Magnum 80 ever built. I saw the video on RU-vid about the day it was Delivered to Miami River back in 2000. And in 2000 that boat sold for 10 million, the best part is the HP 2 x 3250 on ASD 15's and 5 blade Herrings giving her a top speed of 75 to 80 mph and she weighs in at 40 tons lol.

Badass video Stu, I was just asking when the next episode was going to come out and poof there it was this morning!! Just wish this episode was a little bit longer and showed a little more of the installation but awesome video none the less and now I can’t wait for the final episode in this little mini series lol!! No place to go after 565. Next set is 700SCi and these motors would require new rigging in transom and upgraded drives to NX1- This is overkill on a stock 38 Cig- the power we used was perfect match for the hull.

Jerry - trust me no waste. Consider that the old motors ( 540's) are a discontinued motor for Mercury Racing and we at FPC are the most active club in the country with several poker runs and a lot of exposure to thousands of powerboaters. Mercury Racing wants us to have the latest stern drive power in our boat- because we are an official boat for all these major events. It wasn't a waste of money for anyone- it was a much needed upgrade and very good outcome!

yah its not just for the hp updgrade, its to get into a NEW set of motors with no hours and two years warranty. The whole point is to have reliable power so I can go offshore to Bahamas and not worry about any equipment issues!
