It would be nice to know what the weight expectation is from the manufacturer /in the back 1/4. Have they thought about making counterweights available to the public? 4:37
I’ll ask a couple boat manufacturers I have an inside track to and see what they say, maybe even about how they think about distribution when they create new designs
What’s the word on when the new Ventera prop will be available? I run a 26p Bravo 1 XS on my Lynx and I am super curious how these may run on it. Also how do these compare on blade stiffness to the fury and bravo.
You mention the rooster tail and height of them in one of your recent videos. I was always told no higher than the engine cowl. I see all these guys running with huge tails hauling ass so I’m little confused. I’m chasing not having one at all so am I missing out on some speed by not having a rooster tail?
Nathan if you aren’t running a R motor then you don’t want a much more than cowling high at the most. R motors run the sport master lower unit, which is designed to surface the prop, depending on the prop those guys will sometimes throw a Bellagio rooster tail
@@KenSmithFishing i ment to ask you before one of my fishing partners has a newer bass cat with the 300R and has been on the struggle bus with props. He’s tried more props than I can remember. Boat struggles with getting on plane. The only one that has worked well is the bravo but every one he’s ran has broke blade off. Any ideas here ? Bass cat and merc techs have ran the boat with no success
