@@Aniomi-xq9hn I had once a Widow swear heavily on me, as I was constantly chasing her as Sombra. Told me some really nasty stuff about killing myself and stuff, so I reported her. Nothing happened, no "Thank you for your report" over the next days. But when I was playing with a friend one day and she practised Widow with me pocketing her, the next day she told me, she got a warning from Blizzard, because of behaviour. She did nothing as she has no mic and didn't write anything in chat. But given as she was playing widow, I am pretty sure, a few in the match (probably a group) reported her just so. Actually, fairness is no vocab Blizzard has in their repertoire...
The first match… your other support being toxic as if them dying 3 times every fight is your fault. Mercy may not be in the best place currently, even if she was, it doesn’t correct others bad positioning and downright bad game sense especially with the dps passive.. people just need to focus on what they’re doing wrong before pushing the blame every death 🤷🏻♀️ you killed it! 💖
once I had someone in the middle of a comp game tell me to pull out pistol instead of dmg boost. I told them that's not how you play mercy. but apparently I was the bad one on the team. These people are so delusional it's hilarious. XD
no same !! a sombra was attacking me while i was WITH MY TEAMMATES and i was asking for help with her since i was focusing on beaming (which, call me crazy, but i think thats how ure supposed to play her ?? 🙄) and my dps was telling me "yknow sometimes you gotta pull put ur pistol" like yeah... and i wouldve if i was by myself, since obviously i would have no one to beam in that situation so thats my only option left... but why wld i do that when ure literally there and i can dmg boost u while u try to take care of her ? and ofc people complain when u DO take out ur pistol to defend urself when no one bothers helping u.. crazy how we can just never win lol, these people should focus on themselves cuz chances are we know more about this character than they do
the other day the ana on my team kept complaining that i wasn't playing mercy right just because i'm a "dumb girl" and we won and i had 32 assists + only died once? i thought we got over the mercy player hate ages ago, what is going on
right !!! like just let me be a pretty moth in PEACE !!!!!! ill get mfs telling me idk how to play mercy bc i didnt heal them when they were overextended... just bc i CAN ga to help u doesnt mean that wont kill both of us in the process. i swear they lack braincells or smth
@@sop-jt3kd i was with our ashe 80% of the game, i healed hog more than a usual tank because he needed a lot of help but otherwise i was with our dps when i said “im just chilling idk why ur mad” the ana said “and muted, ur annoying and can’t even play the easiest character right” like 😭😭
Chat/voice off 24/7. Common practice when you play mercy even 50% of the time. 60% win rate means nothing if youre on a character that triggers people. Buuuutttt not enough for them to quit a game that has had that character in it since release. Xoxo Ely ❤
@@ririthesilly unless you're mid masters or above, chat is pointless because nobody is making useful callouts. im in high diamond low masters this season and I've had maybe three games out of close to 100 in season 11 that had decent callouts
@ririthesilly But if you perform worse due to the pressure or the outright rudeness. Then it's a detriment to it overall. Though you're "right" in cases such as these. It doesn't work.
It’s funny when the team starts being toxic, as if that will help. I had a tracer ask me to go lucio, but I told them I wasn’t good in playing him and he said “alright” and we just helped each other survive as much as possible. One of the few people who ask instead of raging, respect for those players. Also the enemy wrecking ball’s actions confuse me lol. Did I just not see it properly? Did he ult on point in the 1st round and not even cap when nobody was there 🤣 and in the second round did his mines just fall in the well???
I know it may not be the best course of action but i always talk back to them (not in the middle of a game tho, as i dont want to throw). Im just not the type to keep quiet when im being blamed for no reason, i know mercy is not great this ssn and i will swap if i know im doing bad but dont blame me if youre playing like complete trash🙄 Anywayssss, amazing gameplay as always Eley😊
😅 its the mercy's job to help with ball dive-by either healing the ana through it or going brig. the reason why he told her to swap is bc yeah she might not die against him but she's also not helping her team live against him or making it hard for him to engage/disengage. (also brig mercy is awful why would u subject ur teammates to that)
This happened to me the other day , they went doom and sombra to focus me down. When I outplayed them and we won they said mercy just wins games…..and was saying I was bad but the character is good. What world are we living in?
it feels like they need to lower the dps passive effect on Mercy's healing or something. her healing rn feels SO bad. the only support that seems like they can keep anyone up anymore is ana and that's only when she hits them with a grenade first
Had this a few times and it is highly annoying. But I immediately know when people are like that, they didn't understand the spirit of a Team game and didn't do their job. Countless times I have to fight a Sombra or Tracer and no one cares, but its then my fault, to cause little heal. Well, if they would play properly, I wouldn't be busy around most of my time to flee and defend myself. I stopped playing ranked because of that. It happened just too much for me and I am tired of it. Team play is something very few people know these days it seems. But what they all seem to know, its always someone elses fault. Either a widow if there is one on the team or the supports if they die often and can't heal properly.
I swear, some games I lose because one dude is toxic and then someone on my team HAS to keep replying to him. Like girl, now YOURE playin bad cause you're either typing more than you're playing or you're letting the toxic dude ruin your mental...
not defending toxic behaviour but high healing isn't always good though, it just shows the other team has a good damage output, I think the reason alot of people complain about mercy is because she is the 2nd worst support in the game and any other support (except LW) can do what she can but better
I love the complaints about Mercy, mean while Ana and I think both DPS dies to a single tracer without Pulse bomb. Sorry to say Brig couldn't stop that.
Chappy in the first game needs to swap back to DPS because the amount of kills to heals is so wonky... Why is it that this game is getting more and more toxic as time goes by? It's always been not great, but these days it just feels worse and worse...
@@jackasaw9750 Haha, I just like the feeling of pressing the button. Having it on autopilot feels weird to me. Plus, holding the button means you can flick beams with the same target without accidentally beaming someone else.
I understand not liking the mercy pick since she's not her best atm but in this 8 year old videogame you bet your ass I'm gonna play what I enjoy to have a good time. Like, imagine playing kiriko every match...

@@scurbbb no, it's more of the "support meta" stuff. Everyone wants a kiriko on their team because her kit is so good, so I was just using her as an example of what it would be like every match if you had to switch to what your team mates wanted

One time in a match ppl kept telling me that I should be healbotting but I said that’s not how I play mercy and all of them said I was the bad one???????????? when the dps was 1 and 12 😮🫠🫠😑
At that point unfortunately it's worth switching off mercy because you're getting no value from your dps 🫠 I hate games where you have to swap from playing mercy simply because there's no value
