Well maybe you should have told Paramount.... that they need to advertise better.... they have so many direct to digital / home movies that no one knows about ..... and then when they do choose to add them to Paramount Plus they don't advertise it
Anybody else catch this? She is a three time gold star recipient? The gold star is awarded to someone who died in military service. They say her husband died, but who else? And how does this demonstrate HER valor in combat. Three time silver star or congressional medal of honor would make more sense, but even then those aren't handed out like candy!
Wait, she plays a "marine" called a "soldier", she runs like she's wearing a back splint, and her salute is the worst I've ever seen anywhere in the world.... this looks cringe and I have second-hand embarrassment.
The only reason the dislike ratio isnt bad is people have no idea this exists. I laughed out loud when the big reveal of the trailer was that she was the tough guy of the movie, this is so bad.
Annnnnd.... in the trailer (when they were listing off her "awards") they said "Three time Gold Star".......ummmm.....a gold star recipient is someone who lost a loved one in the service, it's not an "achievement"...so disrespectful
I watched this movie last night, it was nice. The problem with movies nowadays is that there are no 'mid-budget' movies anymore, and a movie with a script like this back in the 2000s would be a 'mid-budget' flick and would have been very good. Because a 'mid-budget' movies allow for more runtime, more dialogues, more acting, etc. And that changes things because then the movie will really be decent. 1 hour and 30 mins low-budget movies don't allow for good storytelling, and that makes the movie suffer in all aspects. #movies #bmovie #jonvoight #jonathanrhysmeyers
Great script, Jons Rhys Myers and Voight had real screen chemistry, and the lead was totally plausible (she wasn’t 12 with 40D breasts and a PhD, in that order).
Yeah , really. I enjoyed this movie. Some things could have been made better, and I would change the reason why she killed them, but all in all really entertaining movie for me. And why don't you like when there is a woman killing guys, you do realize there are women that would kick your ass in like 15 seconds or less? Of course same goes for me and a lot of guys who have good height, weight and power but just don't know how to fight.
A "ranDu"m thawt 🤔... dang! I just learned this was on Netflix, and it had me think'n, "ooh, somebody finally did a live action Kim Possible, I'm in!" 👍 😆 🤣 😂
Netflixed this movie today and found it just okay. Just didn't like the fake accent of Jon Voight. Action choreography was just passable. Seems like the budget constraint or lack of good direction is why the movie is not a great entertainer.
I enjoyed this movie very much. It wasnt great but it was good. Black Rock was very good. I watched it like 5 times. If we are talkin about women killin men . But there was vengeance, and 2 women against 1 guy.
Terrible movie 😩 nice to see a female cast as a strong woman but terrible story with the constant swearing to represent the Irish. Over playing the patriotic war worshipping too.
Nearly got me watching it until i saw here run across the roof in a white vest and as corny as all hell salutes the flag, and off she goes and saves the day. It will defo be a shite movie, shame as Voight and Rhys are great. I guess they needed a quick payday.
SPOLIER ALERT! This movie was far from good, but not the worst i'v sen either, tho i forward the end when only She and rhys was left and was clear that the woman and son was Last ones standing 😁 for me without Voight and rhys, i would have not even watched this. The main character woman seemed like a side character untill the end. And She can't act at all, She could not even act like She could run "the roof scene" 😂 But in the end, i don't regret watching this, cos i knew it was going to be shit 💪 peace 👍
