Not only everything you said, hut King has has a slew of health issues. Think the dude almost died at one point. This is pretty incredible how good he still is!
The deeper themes still work. King Diamond's voice is very special. Still I must say that the higher registers don't work that well these days, His voice has become older. But still he's the King who can make ghosts appear. Mercyful Fate's music is forever!
Saw them at Graspop, inside the tent at midnight. The amostphere was fucking unbelievable, it was just perfect. Blew bands half their age of the stage.
King Diamond/Mercyful Fate are the the best heavy metal bands of all time.. I got to see him on the Cospiracy tour and The Eye. I saw him in Columbus Ohio at the Alrosa Villa which is the same venue where Dimebag was killed.
You must have an excellent camera, what an excellent audio and video quality, and for shure, King Diamond are from another planet or something, his VOICE is so fucking perfect Even at his Age, Hank Sherman for me is so underrated, brilliant is the Word!!!
It was recorded with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and the sound was amazing in general. Also I think I had the perfect spot right in front of a barrier. It was epic!
