I'm all alone I would like to say please next time you talk to your mother-in-law treat her with more kindness and respect in fact she is the one who had birth the one who you have decided to spend your life with.
@mardiluz We've been combing through out archives and digitizing as many old videos as possible. We've got classic videos queued up to launch every Friday for several months to come!
I watched Mercyful Fate on headbangers when I was a lil child and I scared the fucked up, then a couple years later i became one of the biggest fans of the king
The search is over! I've been looking for this song for literally 23 years since I heard it on the radio. (Before São Paulo’s Monsters of Rock in 1996) I had completely given up trying to find and started considering it was my head playing tricks...How can a chorus stick to your brain for so long after listening to it only once? Evil. Can’t thank you enough for sharing this!
@@carloseugeniocarlos4287 sim!
badass song. love the video. king can be as goofy or whatever the fuck you want to call it he wants. this band has always been so underrated. I've always loved not only the lyrical contents but I think also not enough praise for both guitarist in the band. Some of the most memorable and beautiful solos over the years.
poor Damien, can you guys please leave him alone? it's his house, he's not a guest. imagine you go to your house to find king diamond speaking to you in falsetto and theatrically opening the door "please come in my friend" you'd be scared shitless.
Vozes enigmática a muita melodia armonia complexidade genialidade muito difícil de cantar e tocar assim foda a maneira de se vestir do vocalista é genial
Tony Houle this is best song in album, i saw this from tv short program 1996 and got inspiration, UNINVITED GUEST but bests songs in also, holy water, listen to the bell
Since i seen mercyful fate in the 80s he's went through guitarists like underwear LOL I don't know how Sweden keeps Producing them anyways they're all Great
There's a little old man, standing by my window There's a little old man, hiding in the shadows The uninvited guest, could never have been a friend The uninvited guest, he would never come back again There's a little old man, I'd say he looks like Misery There's a little old man, I could really use his company The uninvited guest, could never have been a friend The uninvited guest, he would never come back again Come inside, and stay for a little while Come in from the cold and warm your heart "You would not know of me, we never met before The name is Damian and I used to live in this house" The uninvited guest, could never have been a friend The uninvited guest, he would never come back again There's a little old man, I'd say he looks like Misery There's a little old man, I could really use his company The uninvited guest, could never have been a friend The uninvited guest, he would never come back again So I said farewell, until we meet again You can come again my friend, any day you want I later learned that he was never here I later learned that he'd been dead a year The uninvited
I call now to the unsleeping one the black Herald nryalathotep who asurerreth the bond between the living and the dead Hail To Thee black prince from The Grotto who's charge we bear Hail To Thee and to thy fathers thow fane laughs in merriment and an ecstasy and in loneliness upon the whim of the will
Hellfest 2016 : This was the 1st time I've seen King Diamond, and it is my best festival show so far. I become a hudge fan of all his work, and I really should listen more Mercyful Fate !!!
I love the drumming in this track I'm pretty sure that's Bjarne Holm one of Mercyful Fates best drummers, although they've never had any slouches. Bjarne had a history of working with Hank Sherrmann, I'm pretty sure he was a member of the illfated band called Fate. Ironic that he would end up in Mercyful Fate a few years later.
What is that Rickenbacker bass he's playing? All black? I know they made 200 all black ones a long time ago....maybe that is one of them....if anyone knows...please tell me.
that is Sharlee D'Angelo who is also the bass player for Arch Enemy and yes that is an All Black Rickenbacker bass wich he played in his early career, he had a contract with them.. now days he plays an Ibanez Iceman..
Is it possible to just take the pick guard off of one to make it look like that, or would it look weird and still have all the screw holes? I'm sorry if that sounds like a dumb question
The song that started it all for me! Thanks to that college radio station who chucked the whole "Into the Unknown" CD into a box labeled "FREE" outside their door!
1:40-2:15 Those Vocals! :O I return to this song just for that part every time. I thought Rob Halford from Judas priest could do some crazy stuff with his voice, but man... How did King pull this off?...
If i were to choose the song that scares me the most, both the lyrics and the melody: i would pick this! It's scary but at the same time i love it ! The MF guys are musical geniuses !
Very good song, but the album it's from was a little uneven. King Diamond's attention was too divided at the time between MF and KD, so the quality control went down somewhat around this time. They were still better than practically any other metal band from the 80's in the mid 90's though. Just compare this to what Maiden, Dio etc were putting out at this time. This was streets ahead.
Yes I hope so to! Was happy to see them at W. O. A! But fuck Corona! Have seen them in the 90 supporting KD. So he have two shows at one evening! Fantastic! Do you also like KD? Cheers from Germany and stay healthy!
There is no other who can sing like king diamond. He is a rock god of his own.I actually lost sleep when he was going through some serious health problems. For I can totally relate to . I am in my mid fifties and I can honestly say that you are the very best at what you do keep up the goo fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm weird with Mercyful Fate. I fully acknowledge how talented they are, but I only like certain songs. This one right here is fucking awesome. King's voice is really on-point. It's not my favorite of theirs, though; that would be the horrendously underrated Fifteen Men (And a Bottle of Rum). That sucker gets me pumped up so quick!
Listen to M.F.'s album "Don't Break the Oath". It's one of the greatest, most influential metal album of all time. It has influenced everyone from Metallica & Megadeth to Nirvana & Soundgarden.
