this dolls are beautiful. i have to admit that Merida is not one of my favorite princesses but the dolls are gorgeous. that being said, i'm wondering if you eventualy Will debox the masquarade edition dolls; i would looove to see Esmeralda and Megara out of the box.
Mate, I don't even collect dolls but I've always been dreaming of this one, and now when she is on sale around the internet for 500 usd minimum I can only sigh every time she pops up coz I'll never be able to afford it between rent and student loan... I never bought her when she came out because of the stigma with dudes owning dolls, and I've regretted it for the whole decade. This movie is so special to me for its meaning of the first time I watched it with my between my parents after breaking with the addiction I had fallen into as a teen and coming back to live with them. We listened to the soundtrack when driving to our favourite mountain lake the following day. And because of all of that, Merida has become a kind of symbol for the mending our broken bonds, to my parents and I. I hope someday I'll be able to afford this doll and have it exposed on a shelf with the dvd. Anyways, thanks for showing all the details. She's looks so epic.
I read somewhere that Merida's name means "pearl" in some language(I guess Celtic, not sure 😅) That may be the reason why her blue gown is adorned with pearls 😅😉🙂
I have the doll that came alone. And she has amazing details. And she would look awful with lashes. I’m sure they tried lashes and saw for themselves that it wouldn’t work.She is a total tomboy, not a girly girl. I don’t blame you for not wanting to cut threading that is holding your dolls outfits together. Thanks for showing us the dolls out of box!
So gorgeous! ❤️💕 wish I had them in my collection. I had got the budget Merida a while back. Love the curls! She’s one of my favorite Disney Princesses. She doesn’t need lashes because she’s a princess who doesn’t wear makeup and being girly! That’s why she’s my favorite she reminds me of me.

I’m so excited when the world is normal again because we get to buy from the disney store and lego again (my 2 favourite things to buy) In uk here we’re not supposed to buy not essential things at all! After we can , I’m hoping o find a discount on disney uk online to buy , tge belle, rapunzel ballet dolls, the mulan + ariel £29 doll sets and the new elsa and nokk set!
In my opinion they are very accurate dolls from the film and look all the details they’d put on it and the glamours from the dress are so beautiful! Shame I don’t have them in my collections as I started collecting in mid 2016 and those dolls are difficult to find and buy in ebay that selling only here in UK.
Thing is it shows that they recognise that the character's personality should be reflected with their dolls. With Merida's interests and personality, i agree it wouldn't make sense for her to have rooted eyelashes. I haven't seen a lot fo videos for these Brave dolls, i think my favourite is the pair of Merida and Elenor they look so pretty together :) It's the same with Mulan when she's in her warrior armour if she was dressed in her fancy traditional dress and makeup then i could see rooted lashes but even then...
