So beautiful! I’m just hoping Disney is aware of the pull Ariel has and they go high on the edition count so we can ALL get a fair shake at buying ine from Disney, and not resellers
She’s pretty but idk, there’s just something missing… compared to the early LE dolls like Aurora, Winter Belle etc there’s just something off. I wish the light blue of the skirt wasn’t just a flat piece of fabric.
Jess has nailed it with these dolls this year, I can't wait for the general release and the masquerade Ariel. but I hope to add Jane first before getting Ariel.
I’ve been waiting a long time to get an LE Ariel doll, they’re sadly just too expensive on ebay. So hopefully I will be able to get the simple one when she releases 🤞

Good job on her hair, really does look better now! 👍 I think it would’ve been cool if she came with a Sebastian and/or Scuttle figurine, just to fill up the box and make it more D23 feeling. And also should’ve added some embroidery to her shawl maybe 🤔
She’s beautiful; imo if you got her at a retail price, that's wonderful; if you paid 300-500 USD secondary market, that's great, but if you pay 600-1000 well… I don’t know, I don’t think she’s worth that much
Noticed on bottom of boxes there is a Mickey on the d23 doll boxes. Think this might be the new d23 sticker since none of the releases have the usual sticker on their boxes
I spent HUNDREDS of dollars on this doll DONT JUDGE ME lol couldn’t find a cheaper one but I’m pretty dissapointed I have to look all over the internet just for some gloves, hat and umbrella because they didn’t add any accessories. I like her a lot but they could’ve done more. I also don’t like the two tone colors. I wish the whole dress was yellow. 💛
In terms of face sculpt this is one of the best dolls Disney has made. Totally agree with you and other collectors that for the price she should have had her hat, gloves and umbrella. Her boots should also be higher with lilac stockings. I had the original Jane doll that was released when the film was released and she came with everything...and...if I remember correctly...she also came with the baby Baboon that she sketched while wearing this dress. But going back to this doll...the face and dress is lovely. I love the bow in the back. 💜💛
i’m rly glad they kept the synched hourglass waist for the LE dolls like i love the body diversity we r getting but mattel already does that and not to mention they all look great (the classic dolls) but where are their necks i could u not if they had longer necks they’d look fine) but rant aside along with the messy ass release of this doll she’s rly pretty not necessarily up my alley but she’s so accurate and the face sculpt is absolutely perfect
Mario, lovely video. I do think she was meant to have her accessories, but I’m sure some decision was made to not include those. When you look at how her hands are posed in the box, it looks like she would be resting them on top of an upside down closed umbrella.
I absolutely love this doll. It has been quite a while since Disney released a doll that really took my breath away. So glad to have her (It wasn't easy) but in the long run worth all the trouble. Among my favorites - probably in my top three now. 💛💛
The rights to Tarzan is with the original author's estate, so they can't do anymore Tarzan merch, unless it's only in the parks. that's mainly why they closed Tarzan's treehouse in Disneyland.
