I cannot help but think of my mom when watching this! She’s an avid collector of antiques, especially from the 20s-60s. She was a history teacher her entire career and the Victorian era is her favorite part of history. Absolutely love your enthusiasm and commitment to your art! Keep it up!
As a pharmacist, I especially love this video of yours. This helps me imagine what community pharmacy was like pre-computers, and when there was more compounding done day to day.
I have wonderful memories of mom and pop pharmacies back in the day. Really, anything mom and pop (diners, post offices, hardware stores, grocers) was so unique and therefore kind of magical for a kid. 💚💚
When I was small (7or8) we could ride our bikes around the neighborhood. One time my friend and I came across a neighbor having a small yard sale. A gold cut glass caught my eye in the sunshine. I think I paid 10 cents for it. I carried my treasure home and presented it to my dear mother. It wasn't until I was older I realized it was an ashtray. 😁 She treated it like it was a Faberge. We had a laugh about it. Miss you Mom 💕
You know, Gary, I have navigated an interesting learning curve on this RU-vid journey, with lots of surprises-and what you describe is one such surprise. It’s amazing to me how the framing can create the semblance of something much bigger and much deeper. I first noticed that with my Christmas wrapping videos over a year ago. My husband walked in and saw the set and said, Wait, that’s the set in your latest vid?? He couldn’t believe how tiny the area was, especially when it was flanked with so many messy piles sitting just outside the frame. 😂😂😂 Thanks for your comment, Gary. Really appreciate it. 💚💚💚
I really appreciate how you work so hard and diligently to ensure the authenticity of your videos! I just discovered your channel a month ago, but you're already my favorite ASMR channel to watch when I need to sleep! Thank you for what you do, keep at it!
These pharmacy videos have become my favorites on your channel! I watch first for the visuals/props/relaxation and then again to actually fall asleep 😊 I’ve been hoping you would do a behind the scenes type of video, thank you! Your work is so impressive and your love for attention to detail really comes through on every video
Wow, thank you, SC! I do the same thing with Moonlight Cottage’s videos because the sets are so rich and the cinematography so beautiful. I’m so glad you enjoyed the BTS. I was afraid people wouldn’t like it. 😬😅🥰
That’s great!! I thought maybe this video would be a flop bc of lack of interest in BTS. But I guess people are as interested and as curious about pulling back the curtain as I am. 😊 Thanks, Candy.
I am so pleased that this popped up in my suggested videos - I instantly subscribed! Your attention to detail is just incredible. Looking forward to making my way through your videos :-)
Hi Syd!! Im so happy to hear fate brought us together. 💚 Just remember, I had a learning curve, so my older videos are quite different. 😂🙃 Thank you so much for your comment. Sherri
I could listen to you explaining things all day 😀 Such a lovely soothing voice. Pleaseeeeeeee do more. Ooh also more stamping 😍 The avon phonecall placing your first order is still one of my favourites. Behind the scenes is fantastic, its great seeing how you do everything. Just goes to show how much effort you put into your videos 😀 We definitely need more meridian Pharmacy in the future, its amazing 👏
Thanks, Emma. It also goes to show how much fun I have. 😂😊😊 By the way, someone else mentioned that she really likes my two instructions videos where I train someone (Stern’s Dept Store employee manual-an older one, and the Pharmacy intern). So I promised another training video of some sort, which will involve lots of explaining. ☺️☺️ 😘😘
I loveeeeeee this!!! Sherri, your channel is one of the only ones that gives me tingles EVERY single time. I believe it's your phenomenal voice and the pace. Oh my goodness Its amazing. Now regarding your set, I'm ASTONISHED at the work you put in. You are truly a blessing to us
You’re a sweetie, Gio. I’m so happy you are getting tingles!! I have a pretty fierce tingle immunity that wakes up only under very special circumstances. Thank you so much for your compliments on the set. I absolutely loved building it. 🥰💚
Lol. Umm, if you look at the game room table where I record, not so organized. But I can make what’s inside the video frame look pretty good. 😂😂 Thank you, Natural Kima. 💚💚
Wow. I am SO enjoying the breakdown on this process, from inspo to materials sourced/used! I am always dissecting ASMR set ups, thinking about how they’re put together! I can’t believe you found the vintage contact paper. I am big in vintage/MCM as well & I am just so happy I found you! 😍
This was so fascinating. Thank you for this wonderful glimpse behind the scenes of the most relaxing pharmacy and a little glimpse into your life. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you for all of your hard work.
Hi Vicky! Thank you so much for letting me know you enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure how it would be received bc it’s not typical ASMR fare. I appreciate your comment so much. 🥰
I love listening to how you put this set all together! Its so cool and so interesting that this isnt even an actual counter in your house that you just used! (You had to build it all as a mini set!) Also, i see the clove gum in the corner! My favorite gum from that company is Teaberry! Not many people know about teaberry flavor, but i LOVE it. (Im from Eastern PA and its honestly the only place ive ever been that ever has Teaberry flavored things as well as the delicious Birch Beer!) But yes. Thank you for this! Its so cool to see the process!
Oh, that’s cool! My favorite was Teaberry as well. 😋 I’m happy you enjoyed the BTS. It’s fun trying to figure out how to build a temporary (and sometime very rickety) set and still make it look realistic.
I appreciate what you do, attention to detail and your voice you are a perfect asmr creator, top notch creating your sets! I have been watching your videos every night, thankyou they help me so much.
Sherri I loved this video. It was great to see how you have an idea & then through thought & process it comes together. I love all things vintage & retro so I am happy to have come across your channel. Very interesting switch from an English professor to an Utube creator!!
It’s funny how life takes little surprising turns you could never have anticipated. I recently retired from Uni administration (a bit early for my age) out of sheer Covid exhaustion. Managing a university under those circumstances took a few years off my life, I think. Now my life is focused on helping people relax while doing something I (didn’t know I would) love. I am very grateful. ☺️💚
I tuoi non sono video qualunque… sono così curati ,fatti bene ….che appaiono simili a piccoli documentari sullo stile vintage ❤ti abbraccio amica cara 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
Couldn't figure out what you meant at first since the vid is set in the 60s--and then I remembered what I said in the video about being a professor. 😅😅😅
Hi 👋 and good evening it’s nighttime here in uk 🇬🇧 London and yay you are back so happy do you sell fisherman friends that’s where I get mine fun if you know 😊what they are 😊thank you for this awesome video 🤗😀👍
