SUV's are nor really popular in Europe btw. and those people who want one, usually buy a BMW. Also the German automotive industry is much bigger and mainly targeting the middle class, which allows the companies to sell more for a relatively good price, while ensuring relatively good quality. Ultimately German cars are simply better.

Well you must not know the country... I've noticed that it's now cool to like Germany. The country is boring and conservative to the core. Granted, Berlin was awesome in the 90s. My father left it for France and never looked back. He despize the german culture... I myself wasn't raised to hate it but after a couple of years there i came to the same conclusion. The only time a German car was ever a threat to security, was when my father emigrated from Germany, and shipped his Volkswagen beetle over.
