MERKKO TUFTY TORCH 

Had mine a year . Does work on some Coots but once they have seen it a few times that’s that. Doesn’t work on swans, gulls ,or mallard which do dive when young in spring. It’s called a Tufty Torch. Does work on Tufted Ducks Scaup and Pochard but in strong daylight it has less effect than dawn ,dusk and overcast days. It does work on Cormorants btw. Charged it once in 12 months.

I would save your money to be honest. Works at first. Effect soon wears off. Got five diving on my margin spot right now completely ignoring it.

Bought a red torch from Amazon £13.99 does the same thing at les than half the price

Its rubbish I bought one and tried it in different places and has not made one bird move

So how about actually showing us it scaring some birds rather than just talking about it

Just got one
