Just received these from Urban Rider a couple of days ago and have ridden about 125 miles in them. Hands down, they are the most comfortable and best looking riding boots I've ever owned. You are spot-on in your description, Andrew! Unbelievably lightweight and yes, I actually did go hunting for the ankle protection haha. It's so sublime, you don't notice it at all. I have a couple of TCX boots and, while they make phenomenal boots and shoes, you can still see the bulge in the ankle protection. Haven't tested the WP capabilities yet; although I trust Urban Rider and Merlin, implicitly. I bought the Merlin Gable WP jacket from you in late 2021 and it's insane how no water gets through. @@abdullahX001 Absolutely! They're incredibly lightweight and comfortable. IMO, they're also stunningly handsome, unlike any other MC boot on the market. The lack of the typical shifter-toe patches, plus their discreet protective armor and distinctive color make them worthy off the bike as a style piece.
These look great. I've been eyeing a few rugged-looking brown boots. I'm very much a fair weather rider, but I'm sure the weather-proofing would come in handy.
Great work as always. Do you have any information on the last width of the boot? It's a struggle to find information on if boots have a wide or narrow last, so having this info is really useful when deciding size. Would be good to detail this in all future boot/shoe videos. Thanks
As someone with broad feet, that would be really useful info, a lot of boots seem to be built on an Italian narrow last and it really makes things difficult when choosing protective footwear.
How high up does the liner extend? How about opening the boot to show off the tongue and how it opens? It's not much of a review, more of a "I read the product sheet"..
Hello, how can I clean them without the leather darkening? I drove in a light rain, and the leather got dirty, it was stained white, some white water stains from the rain, I want to clean them but I don't want them to turn dark, any advice? thank you so much
Are these boots suitable for just every day walking etc. I don't own a motor bike I just like the boots is there anything special that makes them motor bike boots that I'd be better off just getting some walking boots?
