yeah, to us in the UK, it is anti-clockwise. Most UK people haven't heard "counter-clockwise" :)

Yeah, I think that the Queenie that add the territories is a must, it adds a lot of spice there on that side board. Without it it's kind of lame that the towers are just so much better then everything else... I've only played it twice with only the base game, the highest scores on the table was 81 with 2P and 77 with 4P.

Just re-watched this for the how to play, as I'm playing the game again tomorrow (it has been a short while since I played last (Oct last year, I think I watched it then too.) I'll be using, I think they are essential, the two Queenies. The Kings Favour? just gives more options when scoring a mission card and the other one improves the Environ element no end (having rewards on every tiles of the Environ). I've not tried the Knights or either of the other expansions as of yet. Counter-Clockwise?? Surely it is Widdershins!

in FAQ from Queen`s games in BGG "When using a grey flag, you may complete a mission that requires a grey flag, then spend it to complete a second. You may not use the grey flag you spent to complete the second mission."

Hey Paul,i got my brother coming round next week and he is interested in knowing more. do you think this shows off our hobby well to a 'newbie' (i don't have expansion)

Such a good question. It depends how experienced he is. I certainly wouldn't use Merlin with a non-gamer. Whilst people with our experience might think "yeah, it'll be ok", for a non-gamer, there is an overwhelming amount of choice and options, even before you consider the different flag powers. So, it depends what games they have played before. If not many, I would either not play it, or.... just say this will be more complex than anything he's played before and give him the option. He might be ok with it, and might love it, who knows!

@@GamingRulesVideos He is a member of those who have only really played the 'M' game in their youth,so i will keep searching my collection for one that can be picked up 'quickish' but shows my favourite type(euro/worker placement) Do like this one with extra bits,should get more love.

Doing a live stream causes a lot of anxiety and nervousness. People have ways of speaking when in certain situations that cannot be helped. We're not all professionally trained presenters. This video took a lot of time to prepare for and make, and is available for free for people. Nobody got paid to make the video.
