Merritt Reservoir Valentine Nebraska | Tournament Practice
My local Bass Club held a tournament on Merritt Reservoir in Western Nebraska. Merritt is a really interesting place, it's pretty much a lake in the middle of a bunch of sand dunes. Sand banks, sand bottom, barely any rock. Tons of reeds and timber but the water gets drawn down in the summer to fill an irrigation canal, so all of that sweet cover was out of the water. In fact the water was down about six feet over the last month. Hopefully we can figure it out.
