@@EverRusting I still enjoyed it. This isn’t one of his “how to win at chess” videos so he’s not trying to be as instructive. “Guess the Elo” is more of just a reaction series so him losing his mind at the blunders is kind of the point.
@@EverRusting well, he's not judging people for what they don't know so much as for playing like 500 points below their rating. If a bunch of 600s and 700s were playing the first 4 games Levy would have been nicer to them.
@@BruceHoult I am 1500 rated and I legit guessed 600-1000 for all the games except for the first one... And, the only logic I have, is that these guys were drunk as hell. I have no idea how these guys are 1500.

That caronavian really made me laugh ...i dont know what made him play c6 d5 then capture with the queen as white gains tempo by playing knight c3...even black loses the opportunity to place its c6 pawn on the central square that is d5...caronavian is hilarious
17:02 moves like this are the most hilarious because it just has the biggest amount of ooga booga energy. I could imagine someone new to chess playing that against Magnus and congratulating themselves for winning a piece.
Here is how to get a better hit rate. After deciding on an Elo, add 300, 400 or even 500 !! You seem to think 1100 and 1500 are much higher standards than they really are.

@@yusouph2002 it's not winning because it attacks the queen, its winning because it opens up the bishop which is the important piece in the attack, attacking the queen is just a secondary benefit (winning a tempo). But even if it didn't win a tempo, it's still extremely winning. So yeah, thanks for proving my point.

I watched the first game, black didn't play well, but to say things like he has no talent for chess, deserves to be unemployed, and doesn't deserve the house he lives in... calm down, it's chess, people playing openings sub-optimally doesn't mean they have less value as a person

What a Christmas present. Game 4 was _absurd._ Edit: Game 5 is why you never comment before the end of the video. Game 4 made Levy angry, Game 5 made him laugh. So good.
Game 4 seems like 1500s coming up with "reasonable" ideas but with terrible moves tbh. 21:25 h6 and g5 seemed like black wanted to start a kingside attack since white appears to want to castle kingside 21:33 g3 is designed to support the f4 break, white just overlooked the threat of Bh3 22:05 a5 a4 seems like black didn't know how to continue the attack and played a waiting move, and white responded with the standard response 22:43 Kg2 is designed to reroute the Knight from e2 to g1 then to f3 or h3 24:00 Rxf6 seemed like white overestimated the attack after Qxf6 or Kxf6, he saw that Rf1 would continue the attack but didn't consider that after moving back there was basically no more attack The last few moves of the game was probably played under low time + white is tilting, thus the blunders. In the end, white just got really lucky with last ditch counterplay. Def seems like a 1500 game to me
No joke, I get Bxb8 (in the opening) played in my games still by some 1700s. I just take advantage of that and win. No joke they play like 1900's the rest of the game, but by that point they're already dead...
Bruh, it's like you're trying too hard to insult the players. The previous guess the elos were better where you calmly explained the moves. Yes, the jokes sprinkled in are funny but the whole video seems too toxic and annoying to watch. I couldn't even finish the video, i physically cringed when you started saying "bro you're trash"
I was trying to understand why the knight move was brilliant in game 3 then i realized because if queen doesnt take and goes after the 2 rooks instead it is mate in 1. I mean its only brilliant if you meant it as an attack and execute without fail.
that fourth game is a 10 minute one... hot dang... There's gotta be some sort of shenanigans on that one... I'm pretty sure I've seen games of that level in rank ~500.
I would love to see what goes through these people’s minds when they submit. They get a drunk opponent doing cocaine while simultaneously playing and go “OMG I’m a genius like how well I played I need to show this to levy”
