Paul Wontorek sat down with Aaron Tveit in the (noisy!) basement of the Menier Chocolate Factory to talk about his acclaimed work as John Wilkes Booth in a brilliant new staging of "Assassins."
I just discovered the talent that is Aaron Tveit and I gotta say more than anything else (he's clearly handsome with a great personality) but I can not get over his work ethic! I love how he's always working on something new and completely different from other roles he's played. I don't know much about acting but I'm pretty sure broadening your range of genres solidifies and strengthens your acting chops, and you see that in every role he plays and how it's evident that he's been working on his art for some time. I also love that despite the relative differences between each of his characters, they all share certain Aaron Tveit-like mannerisms in the way that they say something sarcastic or even just laugh, it's just amazing to experience. Much respect for Aaron ❤️
I've waited in line for the returned tickets for this show and got to get in literally at the last second. It's an amazing production that was a true experience and Aaron Tveit was impressive at this role.
This video lives rent-free in my mind. Like he shouldn’t be that attractive as John Wilkes Booth, but my goodness. Also I can’t get over his beard. I’m just impressed with his facial hair growing ability 🥰
Ok so he said he went to a barber and everything well if he loves musicals so much and knows practically all of them why would he go see a barber has Sweeney Todd not taught anyone to trust a person with a blade around your neck area
What?? Lol. Paul's done literally loads of interviews with Aaron over the years. Never seen his like FOUR Show People episodes with him? They've got a rapport, which I feel is obvious in this video.
