...also Combeferre- Aaron Tveit u/s Killian Donnelly Courfeyrac- Aaron Tveit u/s Fra Free Jean Prouvaire- Aaron Tveit u/s Alister Brammer Joly- Aaron Tveit u/s Hugh Skinner (like it doesn't fit for the joke but Les Amis were just all really well cast especially those 4 I just couldn't not)
"would you weep, cosette.. for me..." *stares longingly into distance* "omg you guys are amazing - alright shut up this is my part - *shut up this is me* HE IS SO EXTRA - THE RED HANDKERCHIEF OMG
when he proves he's the real life Enjolras when he suddenly turns all solemn at drink with me, throwing away all the cheerfulness that he radiated just before that. And that do you hear the people sing!!!!He really looks like he's leading the revolution and at the red handkerchief....I died.....
4:22 somewhere George Blagden feels a disturbance, as if someone, somewhere, yet again left out Grantaire's solo, E/R senses tingling as if Aaron has forgotten about Grantaire in a Brick accurate way yet again.
Now I'm imagining George bursting into the concert, wall crumbling around him as someone wordlessly hands him a mic, he stares longingly at Aaron and says "Do you permit it?" and joins him.
Enjolras: I dreamed a dream in time gone by when hope was high and life worth living, I dreamed Lamarque would never DIEEEEE. I dreamed the king would not be living. Then I was young and unafraid, and speeches were made and used and wasted, there was no rebellion to be fought. No song unsung no wine untasted. But the Troups they come at night, with their canons loud as thunder, as they tear your hopes apart and they turn your dreams to shame. I had a dream my life would be, happier than it is now, much longer than what it really waaasss, but the borgoise have killed the dream I dreamed.
He really does have a sense of what note to start on to reach the high notes later. He corrects himself spontaneously. That's exactly what you have to do as a singer.
During Drink With Me I half expected him to just randomly shout "Oh my gosh Marius! Nobody cares about your lonely soul!" In the middle of Marius' part 🙂
there was a time when hope was everywhere and i wasn't selling my body on the street and trying to feed my daughter and the man was gonna raise her with me and it would be great and everything was wonderful... then it all went wrong (sorry for any mistakes it was hard to hear but i had to point this out 😂)
This medley is one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen him do. He's not taking himself too seriously but then also sounds really good. That's showmanship people. Also that red handkerchief is everything!
I cried on the Les Mis 2012 movie but when Aaron sang some of the songs...OMG!!!! I can't stop laughing! His singing his great but he's so funny and hilarious at the same time! He just capTVEITed me in his voice and funny antics...I love this man...😘😘😘
I would never understand why he thought his Bring Him Home was terrible. Like that was the best. That was INCREDIBLE. I just wanted to keep listening on
Ok but the way they increase the spotlight's brightness when Do You Hear The People Sing starts and the light is right behind Aaron's head and looks like a halo... it's an Enjolras Thing and I'm here for it
From the first time I saw LES MISERABLES on stage my favorite character has been Enjolras. I’ve seen the play many times, and it never fails. Enjolras has my heart. When we finally got the movie and Aaron was Enjolras I discovered why my feelings were meant to be. One day I would get to see the finest Enjolras possible, albeit on a screen. Aaron is so perfect in every song he sings, and every role he performs. ❤️
When he is singing Do you hear the people sing and Enjolras is supposed to start singing the way he just goes “Hey this is MY part, shut up!” Cracks me up every time I watch this.
I think that I'd be crying if I get to be there when he sings "do you hear the people sing" I cry with the movie and... OMG THE RED FLAG I CRIED NOT AGAIN
