I watch Many hours a Day of those magnificent creature. And i almost feel like an expert on the subject... I know i still have a lot more to learn but i really feel close to Them and i can appreciate Them from distance. I Do not visit zoos anymore and i hope one Day i could invest on a trip to visit a non profit sanctuary.

There too young... Need to grow maturity i think before they distance themselfs from the caretakers. Dont forget that the rest of the Time... When they are not in School they stay in cages. With no mothers confort and reassurance they go for the caretakers Who act like serrogate Mothers. This is what i am hoping from : more forest less cages cause even if you see Them in the forest in all those vidéos they are majority of the Time in cages..

Its difficult to keep them off the ground without their individual mothers to carry them around. This is why they say nothing can replace their mothers. This is the next best thing BOS can do; get them on platforms, hammocks, let them climb trees on their own whenever they can. It's impossible for few babysitters to carry so many orphans here and there 24x7, or onto tree tops as their real mothers would do and keep them off the ground as in wild. In higher classes they show orangutans spending more time on trees, learning there.

Yes. They arrived at the centre month apart from each other. Meryl arrived in January, Valentino on Valentine's day.
