I have been subbed for a VERY long time now, having watched Caleb play both, an *_"E-kit,"_* and his *_"SJC acoustic kit."_* 🤔 🤔 I, AS both an *_"AE1 AUDIO ENGINEER & A GUN FOR HIRE PROFESSIONAL DRUMMER,"_* thinks, THIS IS one of those times, when our ears are actually performing a dual role!!!!! 😨 *"Huuuuhhhh,"* you say, 🤔 *_"PREPOSTEROUS,'_** ears can't, AND don't, SEE stuff..., right.., Aaahh, Eerrr, ORRR, DO they...!??!"* Of course, or at least, not in the physical sense do our ears see, but we do it, everyday!! You hear something, that just doesn't JIBE, w/what your seeing... 🙄 *... FOR EXAMPLE,* We're watching our "young-gun" Caleb here, playing his --@R$€,-- ( UMMMM, 🤔 SCRATCH THAT, it's a shade inappropriate,) Sooo, playing his "Tookisss" off in this video, and all while hearing him doing the same.... RIGHT...!??!??! *HOWEVER, MY knowing that CAN NOT HAPPEN,* without at the very least, 🎤🥁🎙 *ONE MICROPHONE* capturing the audio for the video, You say, 🤗 *"OK, IT LOOKS AS IF AT THE VERY LEAST, ONE MIC, IS DOING JUST THAT, RIGHT THERE IT IS, burrri, ummm, burrie,"* 🤤 *"BURIED INSIDE' THE KICK DRUM...!!!"* 😨 (...... here's that,) *"PREPOSTEROUS!!!"* (word again,) 😲 but for all practical purposes, *a single microphone, BURIED DEEP INSIDE A KICK DRUM, WELL, is either the absolute "best Microphone" in the world,* 😁 *or....., "A LITTLE AUDIOVISUAL MAGIC"* 😉 *IS HAPPENING here!!!* Which makes me WONDER, knowing what I DO KNOW, how many "takes," did it take Caleb, to match every drum stroke, to every drum stroke as played when the original video was created?!? Where W/OUT at the very, very, least, three (3) mics would've been needed to capture the audio (the drums, as heard played by Caleb,) that being, ONE in each kick drum for independent isolation of each kick, and one placed centermast, just above the drums, in order to get the rest of them. There is the possibility that a drum micing/Triggering system by "YAMAHA," the "EAD10," that generally attaches to the kick drum hoop nearest the drummer, can do the job, claiming that a "true stereo" sound of the entire drum set can be recorded, and almost flawlessly.....!!!! 🤥*...... SHAME ON YOU, YAMAHA, because... NOT REALLY, especially with a drum set as large as Caleb is playing, and I don't even see anything that remotely looks like the "EAD10" system is in place!! Soooooo, how did it all come together!?!? That is the question, and a pretty darn good question at that, as there must be others out there, VERY INTERESTED IN BEING AN AUDIO/VIDEO PRODUCER, who would benefit so much from that information as well, and really, for the most part, as a audio engineer and drummer (Caleb is slowly becoming, VERY efficient at both,) that market in social media platforms could also be shared, tapped into and made available as, educational projects, where how it was all done, by your fave channel host, is brought to light... *so what do you think, **_"TEAM CALEB??"_* *ANYWAY KEEP ON KEEPING ON LIL' BROTHER DRUMMER!!!!!* 😎🤘🏼

I am here for the drums. The 9-year-old is something I have to get used to. I wonder how many truly "talented" children there are in this world-a couple thousand, I would hope. Let alone bothering with all these other (shit-ass) adults that "run" the place. (Not your parents) Watching stuff like this makes me want to go to work in the morning. I just spent 9 hours on a roof at 95 degrees F. I rocked out to you tonight. Thank you all.
