Tomas Haake’s footwork patterns on Bleed are insane to begin with, but the fact that he has them so locked in when playing live is truly incredible. These guys are on another level as far as being able to perform their material live. One of the greatest metal bands of all time imo

Ok but can we appreciate that this band has been at this shit for over THIRTY YEARS & they STILL sound incredible. That is absolutely insane given the extreme nature of their music.

It takes a lot of effort to programme those lights. The lighting engineer needs to be appriciated. He's like the 6th member of the band. He knows every beat of the songs.

My ears are still ringing from this concert 4 years later, and I wasn't even there.

We are all extremely fortunate to be living in the same decades as these brilliant men.

Its on my bucket list to see this band live at least one time before I die.

Best band I have ever seen in my entire life. This is elite mixing, metal musicianship, and lighting at its best. Sounds better than the album recordings in my opinion. Unfuckwithable.

That Lethargica breakdown is LITERALLY the greasiest breakdown ever. I swear. And Lethargica is one of Meshuggahs top underrated tracks as well as my personal favorite.

Meshuggah really is the only metal band you have to see live. After that you can say you've seen the best metal concert known to man.

I literally have a hard time believing what these guys do in the stage. They are so perfect playing all those complex rhythms, to me it is actually scary to see this level of performance, doesn't even look human.

Clockworks is one of their most insane songs, how the hell they play that live without turning into dust amazes me

The last phrase of Straws Pulled at Random is one of my favorite Meshuggah things ever. It gives me chills to hear live.

There is only one constant in my life and it's that no matter what I'm going through, I can always, always count on Meshuggah to churn out this deranged head-caving music. I always go through cycles after not hearing the band for a while and I think, 'are they really as great as I constantly chalk them up to be? Do I put them on too high of a pedestal?' and then I hear or see something that reaffirms tenfold their magnificence while I feel like I've been punished for faltering and doubting for even a single second

Straws pulled at random, the bending of the strings combined with the lights sweeping down...absolutely mind blowing and epic.

When Mr Thomas Haake takes off his gloves and earbuds, festival's over. No encore, no begging, just respectful applause and an orderly procession to the marked exits.

This mix sounds waaaay better! But there still is small lack of bass. Cheers from Russia to all Meshuggah fans!

The fact that Bleed is the 2nd last song on the set is mind-blowing. I play the 5min shortened version of it and I feel like my legs are about to fall off; but here's Meshuggah nearly an hour into the concert blasting Bleed like it ain't no thing.

Meshuggah was sitting in my music library for over 20 years - mostly unlistened. I always had the feeling there is something special to this music but never managed to dig below the surface. I finaly saw them live in Vienna this year for the first time - I can't get enough since! To say it with the words of bill burr - a truly life-altering experience.

The crowd just looks mesmerised. A Meshuggah live show is incomparable. Almost a spiritual experience. Best band there ever was.

That Future Breed Machine performance at 24:42 gives me fucking goosebumps. Meshuggah are so tight, on records and live shows its unbelievable. Their stuff sounds so fucking gargantuan.

The Lethargica solo into the drop had me in tears for some reason that I cannot explain. Greatest metal band of all time imho. The amount of sheer talent and raw primal power never leaves me in awe. Long live Meshuggah!

How the hell can he play the whole 7 minuits of bleed after an hour of brutal drumming. Thomas haake is on a bother level

59:04 both guitars almost drop out. But the amazing thing is that they both lock back in the middle of the riff. That is actually pretty damn impressive. Not an easy thing to do in a riff as complex and technically challenging as Bleed.

I saw them open for Tool in the early 2000s. My friends and I thought there was a war going on in the arena. We were terrified and mesmerized! I have been an unwavering fan ever since that day!

One of the most amazing metal bands of human history ladies and Djents...

Blasted on booze, 50mg edibles, and a nicotine high, Demiurge was an absolutely life-changing experience live. "Terror rising. Agnostics nemesis. A prophet of extinction" I lost my mind, separated from my body, the gravity turned off, and I was transported to another another dimension. Thousands of people in that room but I was the only one there. I will NEVER forget that moment. Thank you Meshuggah!

It's so freaking technical these dudes literally can't move when they are doing their work. The light show guy makes the whole thing just wicked.

I LOVE THIS GUYS SO MUCH

Hands down one of the greatest metal bands of all time!!! I can't think of another band that actually fights off their level of musical complexity and heaviness. Their live performances are fucking unparalleled!

If you (yeah! You!) are having this feeling just watching on youtube, imagine a live performance. I've seen them twice here in Brazil and my soul took some time to get back. If you have the tiniest chance to see them live, do it!
