I found this by accident just searching for this song. You sir are absolutely tremendous. Stewart Copeland is a freak of nature, and you did him proud. I could watch this all day.
Memories, my band did this song in clubs in the 80's. I'm a drummer, nice job. Stewart Copeland was a big influence on me. Copeland at the time and still you can hear him and instantly recognize his sound and style. And yes Paste cymbals are awesome. Have been using them for over 30 yrs,

Man, watching this performance makes want to go out and buy a drum kit pronto, and I'm learning the pedal steel right now. I think it's a good bet that a great many people are frustrated drummers...

I rarely enjoy a cover because most guys do versions of the music but this my friend is EXCELENT in every ways. I love Stewart and this is one of his most inspiring drum lines. Congratulations o the cover and thanks for share your skills with us.

Hey Mike; Phenomenal job on that song dude. That was one of the most entertaining versions of that song that I have ever seen. "You Da' Man". lol, No but seriously, you are an awesome drummer and I thank you for blessing us with being able to watch you put your talents to work, and not just seeing you teach all the time. I myself have been drumming for over 40 yrs now. I have done guest appearances with many top groups myself at times. I just play for GOD now though. GOD Bless Mike & take care.

Favorite part is at 2:27. Of course, this cover is awesome, stupid solid. But just when you think it's a really solid, straightahead cover, you throw that little stick twirl throw into the third verse, right before the "hundred million castaways" line. It's one little piece of flair, but it makes the whole thing for me.
Very, very good and solid drumming. I hope you're a drumming teacher..It's very difficult to cover the Police, especially Steward Copeland....I also loved your drum cover of Radio / Video from SOAD. Please do more drum covers.......................Really terrific drumming!!!!!
