And that’s how you play Superstition... So many drummers play it like it’s a rock song or like they feel they have to put in everything they’ve ever learned, overplaying and over filling. This sits and feels great because it pays homage to the absolutely wonderful drumming that was played on the original recording by Stevie Wonder himself. Really lovely stuff. 👍

The Guy in the vídeo os playing the "commom Sense". The original song start's with 2 flams at the snare. The kick is contínuous, but he's playing like 4/4 tempo. I loved the way he's playing, but, this is not the "right" way to play this song.

Really? I thought it was good but thought he varied his playing in front, on and behind (aka pocket) the beat for the whole. It’s hard to be in the pocket for the entire song while getting busy with fills and groove variations. I might have to start covering this song in my practice too. Good job OP
