Hi Mr. Voyage! Elijah Muhammad used the basic teachings of the Qur'an to inspire his people to do good. He never claimed to have the orthodox interpretation for the Muslim world. He didn't use it to attack anyone, bomb anyone, gain political power or turn his people toward hate and division. He inspired black people to look to Allah, get off dependencies like drugs, alcohol and inferiority and instilled lasting values. He did more to uplift people than anyone with the Qur'an has ever done.

Certainly Elijah Muhammad taught the Qur'an so that's simply a continuation of Muhammad Ibn Abdallah's influence.

In probably most if not all relgions/beliefs when you believe in something strongly naturely one is compelled to share their experience. Ecspecially if one believes the other are lost and need the knowledge. This is a reason some would comment against the message Eventhough i disagree with some things he speaks about it doesn't hurt to see where people come from with thei4 and understanding of scriptures
People come for insight.in my opinion a lot of claims are made of past scriptural history that can't be proven.also don't use Christian scripture if in Islam it's said to be false to prove a point , seems foolish to do aka using false scripture to prove truth seems counter intuitive.

Just like many Orthodox Muslims claim to believe in Allah but only follow the ritualistic aspect of Islam. Islam is about the oneness of God. Religion is not limited to ritual or the revelations revealed to one group of people. The prophet came from a tradition and line of other prophets. 'Hinduism' is just a name for the organized aspect of the religion, if you looked into the message of Hinduism its monotheistic just like Semitic based religion, with slightly differing terminology. To be clear Shafi wasn't saying the Hadith could abrogate the Qur'an, but he made it clear they were equally important. Al-Shafi’i relied on the literal meaning of the Qur’an, then on the authentic Sunnah. He strongly argued for the acceptance ahadith provided they were authentic, at a time when they didn't have the authority they do now. Remember, between the 2nd and 3rd centuries A.H. the body of sayings attribued to the prophet expanded. To a point, they were accepted as a literary device.
