If you give Wortsworth an image of a tablet that tablet would then be automatically marked on you map, so there's no need to worry if you forget which tablets you have taken a picture of.

I think they also get marked if you visit them before the quest as well.

@@anubisuzumaki5075 they’ll only get marked after Wordsworth sees them, but if you take a picture before you get the quest, it will count once you talk to wortsworth the first time

As someone who loves zelda theories, I just want to clarify that the person who wrote the tablets isn't mineru, it's a whole other character that we haven't seen in the cutscenes. On the 5th tablet called, "The Researcher Mineru", Wortsworth says that the "chamberlain" cares for Mineru, meaning mineru and this chamberlain person are separate. And wortsworth states multiple times that the author is the chamberlain

not going to lie one of my favorite things is seeing future/editing austin question past austin for multiple reasons. whats live without any whimsy. its so funny seeing someone look at their past self and be like how?! or what?! or why?!. like austin qustioning why he at some point wanted to take the picture without them falling or before they fell lol.

I think it starts after one regional phenomena completed - one of them drops in Lookout Landing at which point you can talk with researcher and trigger quest

I love this game. I may be wrong, but I think you sacrifice a lot in the pleasure of playing it just to make us cool videos. Thx for what you're doing. It's helpfull, video are perfectly edited. No clickbait or spoilers. Great job, great content. Good continuation. PS; By the way I did the roasted food glitch with merchants. It works on all merchants that sell roasted food, whatever it is. And special thx for the "horse meal cooking" video (poor english sry), that was really handy.

@@ms.piratethe ones that fall from sky islands? Yes you can I’ve done it pretty frequently in fact one of the Skyview Towers you need to recall a falling stone to get into to it.

Recall doesn't work on the falling tablets. I think it's more fun to fall with them and take the pic where they land anyway, but I see why you'd want to take pics before they fall.

I had all but one of them and had it in my head that it was obscured by the big storm swirling around the Faron region and that was why I couldn't reach it or even see it. But after looking at your map I figured out that the one missing was the one in the far Northwest corner of Hebra, so I collected that one too, and completed the adventure. Thank you!

Thanks for this guide and all your vids - I really enjoy them. This is a great and fun side quest, and really helpful to get to know the whole sky realm by going everywhere to find these tablets. I also had found one or two of the droppers earlier on and saw from this that they weren’t gone for good but I just needed to drop down to the surface thru the hole they left and find them there. The too long conclusion where you had to listen to Wortsworth drone on and on with the translations I think we could alll do without, but still fun.

If you land on top of the column itself, that the writing is on, it will fall even prior to starting the quest line. Learned that the hard way

Great video as usual Austin! One thing I wanted to add, I actually found one of these during my adventures and decided to take a picture as I thought "this is probably useful for something". When I went to the guy, I believe he accepted the picture. I'm not sure if this is actually how it works but it may be possible to take a picture of them as you find them and then you can activate the quest later and it may still work. I haven't tested this but it was the only one I took a picture of and I found it while just exploring, as it was near one of the death star shaped islands.

Same. I saw one of these flowers on the map, and I though "That seems conspicuous. I should check it out...just in case". When the column fell, I noticed the writing. Since Link couldn't read it, I was curious about looking into it later. So took a screenshot, BUT I also took a picture with the Camera (just in case, as I noticed this work this way before in BotW). And...yup...right after I got to the point in the conversation where you're told to take the pictures, he noticed I already had one, and he asked for it before I could even leave the conversation. I already had four different pictures of three different tablets by then. 😂

I think after a sage or 2, this- the first- specific pillar falls to the surface. But that said this quest is honestly so fun, very very peaceful for exploration. But with that first island being so high, WHY DOES NOTHING COME CLOSE? AND can we get updates for more sky islands to explain why there's ruined all over hyrule where there's no island. I wanna play puzzles with them.

great video!! you actually are able to take the picture of the hylian text before you initiate the quest, and then when you start the quest the guy will be like "wait you already have one?" Source: i did that in my playthrough. also i just dived after them and took a pic once they hit the ground when they fell :p it was super cool when they went into the depths!

I thought you could keep the platforms from falling if you land on them softly either by climbing onto the floor or using the glider to land on the inner circle near the text or on the outer ring inside the flower before the wall of text?

Actually if you find them before the quest unlocks you can still take a picture of it and it'll still register as one of them for the quest. I ended up on one of these out of curiosity and since it said I can't read it I figured I'd probably eventually find someone who could (cuz they wouldn't just add it without someone who could translate) and I think it was after I finished my second regional phenomena quest that that guy was in Lookout Landing. He did translate the one that I had from before I got the quest lol

Great video, just wish it came out before I did it myself and realized that it was a waste of time since I won't ever change off the Twilight Fabric lol. I did set a travel medallion on the one above lookout point because I thought it was the last one I was missing but nope. At least I have a travel medallion at the highest point in the game. As others have said, you can take pictures of them early in your adventures and just turn them all in at the start of the quest line, just gotta sit there spamming A button. The map will not update with indicator you got it until you turn it in though.

3:12 you also have a hard time falling off a cliff while using ultrahand. you can, but it’s hard for a sheer cliff. small bumps can knock you out of it tho

I did this quest JUST last night haha. Love the lore in this one. But yeah, I leave the camera 100% not zoomed in and as soon as I jump down I take the photo. Also, weird that some of them do fall and some don't. (I totally investigated the one that falls into the depths early on and was just like-- "...what." 😆)

I got a tip not sure if it works on the latest update but if you keep missing a blood moon you can travel to the depths and return after 12 the blood moon will happen the next day and you just rinse and repeat and works up until the cutscene Also no recall doesn’t work on the monuments😢

Can confirm this quest only appears after you do 1 of the regional phenomenons. Checked it out before I got Tulin, and it wasn't there, checked it out after and it was.

After 2 days and revisiting all of them three times over I finally found the missing one in the north gerudo sky

I was stuck on 11 for the longest of time after looking i thought everywhere. I went to the central one 2800 meters in the air and was devastated to spend 2 hours using balloons and wings to try to get there before i discovered the air bike/4 fan and metal grate on the one sky island. I missed one on the left side of the map in a spiral island formation near the spinning death sphere. Its so easy to miss unless you zoom way into the map.

What I was hoping for, is that each one is on a specific part of the wall, I was hoping someone would isolate the location of whichever one is in the order of the wall so you can easily find the one your missing, all at once is good, but when you have most of them, it's very inconvenient to recheck all of them
