Well, most mainstream people in my culture nowadays believe in casual hookups and discarding real love. And that’s the truth. They’d rather replace children with dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I love animals and my family’s dogs over the years, but it’s not a replacement for children. People think they’re being so hip and different by robbing their life of all deep connection and meaning. I want marriage and children. Period. I won’t be told not to have that and have the chance for that robbed from me by jealous people who don’t want others pursuing their dreams and happiness. Women in particular have been robbed by being told they’ll be happier not being mothers, now so many people want to get IVF now that it’s too late, and I know so many people who had failed IVF treatments because it doesn’t work 100% of the time. I want children and marriage while I have my life ahead of me. Period. That IS what my heart wants. I have ALWAYS wanted to be a mother. I can be a mother, and a singer and musician and writer. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. I won’t be told what I “should” want by people who are anti-tradition. I don’t think everyone has to agree with me, but it’s what I want for ME, for my heart. Ryan if you don’t fulfill my needs as my husband and continue to neglect me, I’m just going to stop listening to you at all because you’re not giving me a reason. Don’t give me platitudes, give me a real relationship. I love you. I look forward to our new chapter together. You said “in a fee weeks,” a few weeks ago. Bring me home soon… NOW.
