Perfekt. Frank Martin hinterließ auf der Partitur den Eintrag „Eine Sache zwischen Gott und mir“. Dieses Verhältnis fließt aus jeder harmonischen Struktur. Wenn Religion sich so definieren würde, wäre es eine gute Besinnung. Wunderbares Stück, großartige Darbietung. Du bist die Beste❤
Incredible. Not a piece for rookies, as performer or listener. My wife sang the 2nd soprano part at St Peter in Chains (Cincinnati) some years back, and loved it. This lady has a splendid range.
Theresa's unique recording technique suits this piece perfectly, because purity/clarity of tone, choral blend, and perfect balance of voices are all so important to an effective performance of this work, which deserves a place in the sacred music canon right alongside the B Minor Mass that inspired it.
Never heard this work before actually, and so glad I have now. Unbelievably good performance/recording as always. I will listen to a choral recording of this now because it sounds quite a bit like one of my favourite sacred choral works, Poulenc's Mass in G major.
