Here at Drum.Dog we're big fans of getting the most 'musical mileage' from our patterns; that is to say we like to squeeze each pattern for what it's worth! The Herta is one of those rudiments that is incredibly versatile, with just a little bit of jiggery pokery it can sound almost unrecognisable!
In this lesson, Nick takes us through a Herta based kit application he's been playing with involving a sticking flip and some permutation. It creates a really interesting way to get around the kit with a heap of different orchestrations, go get creative!
