It took me 3 days but yeessssss!!! I did it! One of my effect sizes was zero and the V (var/covar) matrix kept returning #NUM. I broke down the components of the matrix and discovered the problem was with the transposed diagonal(?) but couldn't figure out what was off. I finally got an Excel savvy colleague to look at it, and he found that zero to be the "tripping point". Novice excel user here, cutting my teeth on 'Hard boiled' stuff 😅. Thank you Dr. Marc 👏. It depends on the effect size metric, for things like the risk ratio a log scale is preferred, but for other metrics like g or d, then it is not typically used
