Hi all, thanks for watching! I have more tutorials using Excel for meta-analysis and systematic review practices, the full list is found here: ru-vid.com/group/PLMDcoG6cxhI0EaLoG9jG7fmf22YIUjD-o

Thank you for this so much! For bubble size I use number of participants in studies that I have...is that correct or not? Thank you in advance.

@@jonierlp Yes that is ok, since the number of participants is related to the weighting. However, I would just emphasize it your figure caption that the bubble size = # participants. Thanks for watching!

In cell Q19, isn't that actually the variance rather than the sd?

Hi there, excellent video thanks so much! You did not transform y axis from log (RR) to RR... As I see in the prototype plot (on the left) y axis is RR not log (RR)...

you are correct, excel is not friendly with log transformed axes, so I keep it simple by retaining the original (untransformed) effect size

@@LajeunesseLab Oh THANKS! I was just wondering because I assume u made the prototype with excel as well ;)

Here prototype was generated using the metafor package in R -- which is way, way easier to make these plots!
