Today we discuss a LOT about R5, including runes, stats, explanations and TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS, one the more "standard" team and one very budget friendly for a secondary team, or mix & match.
This was just the video I needed coming back to the game after a long break, I built most of these units right before I quit but had forgotten the reasonings behind them :D Thank you Bagel
29:10 ayyyy thanks for the shoutout :) with that team, you could even bring Colleen and delphoi to the FL for better reliability. As rightly pointed out, they just need more stats overall for survivability. Have a 2nd team too but that’s really just random stuff :) N.B didn’t max the slot 6 on Colleen coz it wasn’t exactly the rune I wanted on her, but for the lack of slot 6 hp%, it’s still usable and she’s pretty close to 25k hp :)
This is the best! Really help me refocus when I was floundering without direction. I’ve got aims now. Please help with PC10, ToA Hard next! You’re our leader! Love you!
I love his usual play throughs from the start but it’s always tricky because he gets pulls I don’t or manages to make teams I just don’t have built yet. Like missing fusion monsters not built lol These videos make it very clear cut what I need to build
Lisa doesn't add enough to be worth bring as a second cleanse, let your panda do the job and use an extra damage dealer. Mihyang is the only unit I can think of that does enough damage to bring in as a secondary cleanse. Triple rev Colleen on speed def def should be able to fl with your Panda then toss 4 dd in the back line. If you've got runes, 4dd r5 is done in 40 seconds. If you dont have runes you dont really need to be in r5 ;)
i was wondering sommething, in most cases immunity is not all that great in r5 cause the boss strips into a stun. and then i had to remember which unit in the game does this too: Giana and what counters giana in rta: Haegang. would Haegangs s3passiv work in that case? i mean it should in theory and if you play with immunity instead of cleanses he should be able to avoid the oblivion. this would protect your dd´s from the barrage of debuffs the boss has to offer and if he dares to strip your immunity or any other buff for that matter Haegang should cleanse the stun right of and give a little atb on top. (this could also work while the boss changes phases cause he cleanses himself of all debuffs which triggers his passiv too) if you and your companions use heavy water dmg dealer his lead might worth considering too (water twins or kfg)
Been sorely in need of this kind of video. ever since clearing all b12's and getting A+ or better on rift beasts i was hoping to see something other than BJ5 teams cuz i don't have the runes or towers to really get the stats on need for that specific team
Hey Bagel, I love you and everything but I havent played summoners war since 2017 and I started an account about 3 months ago. Within the first 70 days I was able to fuse and build Bjr5 with not much more than minimal playing everyday. I'm not sure how you could consider anything but that META.
If you want to optimise your rune farming, wouldnt it be helpful to max out on the rune crafting essences and therefor wont be able to drop them in dungeons Jewbagel. This would mean in theory you could only obtain Runes or Rainbowmons which would make an significant increase in mana and rune value.
I was wondering if the "team buff" ones affected everyone or just your team. I'm guessing just your team, like a party buff would, but just curious if anyone tested it with a spare team
@@joshuaryder4680 The Runes like "fight" and such. I know that the passive effects from Dias is your team only, even when doing additional placement, its only the team they are in, but just curious if it works like the leader skills, raid wide, or like the passives that are group wide
Anavel does have a cleanse and defense break, but she has HORRIBLE AI and will not cleanse when she should, and will instead skill 1 or defense break. Mine is tough enough for the front row, but I almost never use her unless I can manual with her. It really is that bad.
i havent watched the video yet but thank you for this video i have been struggling on who is the best to bring into Raids and stuff. i cant do R5 yet because my team dies there so R4 is my best at the moment Edit : i'm gonna first focus on building that first team while farming runes and artifacts to put very good runes on them
where was this a month ago when i was struggling w r5? since then i realized xiong fei, lisa, kro, raoq, and icaru with enough defense to team up w 3 others and any other cleanser/healer is great for a beginner team. there's constant team ups for damage and cool down reduction and it has all the necessary debuffs the team almost never loses unless the other players die. plus if u have icaru on full determination set to get the defense requirement it acts as a pseudo darion that can't be oblivioned
I am guilty of not having maxed runes 😅 but at least I get them to 12 lol also haven't even tried r4 yet so doesn't count. It's just so hard to max when it takes +2 mil Mana to go from 12 to 15 and only have less than 10mil Mana total 😒
Just a slight addendum to this video: Occult girls aren't good main cleansers for r5. For some reason they have horrible Ai in raids and prioritize s3 over their cleanse, even when you really need the cleanse. . They make good secondary cleansers, though.
Nobody used kung food girl in R5 back then. Not saying she doesn't work but there's better damage units for beginners, prior to 2A monsters. Also, back then we expected specific stats for front row. If you don't know those numbers, what are you even talking about. Again, not saying you're wrong but you're talking a bit too fast and missing important information. Kind of all over the place. Edit: Im not YT'er, but just giving constructive criticism. No offense intended. You had something going and then got ahead of yourself, I assume to not make a long video. But wait, 50 minutes... I didn't/couldn't get past 8 min.
@@wow1440 By the time all those pieces show up you could have easy 2A'd like 6+ Kro's. It's not a good unit to have in f2p or beginner guides since it literally takes months or even a year to get all the pieces.
