I feel like the reason alot of people bring these monsters is because that's what they have and they're trying to make r5 work when they simply arent ready for it yet...
I mean to be fair to bagel back before the twins existed lots of people, including myself, were using woosa in their gb10. He was the one making my first spd team possible. Think it was somehting like Akhamamir Galleon Bethony Woosa Sigmarus, how things have changed lol
Yes, I know what mons are good or bad for raids before watching this video, but I just wanted to see what kind of shinanigan people were actually using in r5. It was both educational for less experienced people and funny for people with more experience. Worth watching!
Thank you! Getting to that stage now on the game and have been looking for units to put in. A lot of which I haven't built but guess it's something to do for the next year . .. .
I use a bruiser comp that does a ton of damage: FL: Skogul, Raviti, Colleen, Xiong Fei BL: Mihyang, Kro (Or xiao lin) Skogul does a ton of damage and reduces attack bar. Raviti's shield is soo tthiKKKKK and have him tuned to cleanse before dps units go (he is on vio, put cleansers on vio). Colleen provides constant debuffs and I have her tuned to go before dps units to provide attack buff if rngesus allows after raviti cleanse. Xiong Fei brings a lot but I have him built to be faster than most of the team so he can defence break first, he is built on crit damage and is around 200spd. Mihyang is the faster of my cleansers, its easier to get more hits when you can spread your cleanses with two mons (one fast, one slow: though most don't opt for a two cleanse team) Kro or Xiao Lin: Kro I find actually provides some cycling with his kit and more debuffs than Xiao... so I think with 2a he is a clear winner... but it really doesnt matter, dps is dps.
Great video about a tough spot. I see people that like to use the best runed mons that make no sense with skills. Good breakdown of units to use at the end.
Sometimes I wonder if people forget - that new players - working their way through the missions - will end up pushing through the raid levels trying to get the rewards... they dont know whats good till they've tried - and stating 'these are good instead' is only useful to them IF they have them... I was playing around on did that and ended up clearing r1-4 with some monsters that have no business in raids and only 2 of them 6 stars - if i was new though, I wouldnt have a clue. Rina's contribution (if she doesnt die) is to prevent the backline receiving damage - is they're dead because thats the tankiest unit he has - then she's a sound choice. Endgame players have choice pick raid teams. progressing players can be working towards them, but have to make do in the meantime.
They should be doing research before they enter raids. It is very possible to make F2P consistent r5 teams. Getting a few new monsters with rewards doesn't mattee if your runes are shit.
Jewbagle... I enjoyed this video so much because I'm early game and selecting my raid mons is the height of my interest. I tried 2 teams in R1 tonight. My: FL: Fire Panda, Fedora, Skogul, Kona (BL) Hwa, Colleen. 2nd team: My GB10: Vero, Bella, Lushen, Hraesvelg, Sig... plus a Woosa I was lucky enough to pull. Team 1 performed well. Was never the flaw... yet could never really carry R1. ( Oh it will... we know.) Team 2: It already has my best runes... hits like a truck, tanks like a noob boss, and carries R2 It's why you see these units! It's also why I love this vid, and R3 poops in my hat. But for real newer players 9/10 play on results. If advice is time consuming to develop.
It's hilarious how he's dying inside while explaining cause he doesn't want to offend people who use these monsters lmao such a nice guy, ur one of the best buddy and everything u say is a free lesson for us, if people don't wanna take ur advises it's their loss
it's nice to see that all the monster i planned to use in raid are in the recommanded list (dias 2a bella collen lisa xiao lin brandia) however, i might just switch brandia for hwa for more atb reduction and more consistance in the slow and a lead skill it's ridiculus how my only aviable lead is res x)
Welp...now to just take a break from rifts and gather rift mons. Because I admit I used cami and Vero so much...Due to shelving xeong Fei for later to rune and because I have way too many monster to work on runes but this video has enlightened me a bit. I'll work on my raid team
I came back just to mention how on Briand he mentions don't let your team get to the point of dying and now the meta for R5 is BJR5 where the whole point it to make sure units die. It is funny how things can shift over time time. But great video for people who cant make BJR5.
Dryad. Water version is not horrible. But she must have all skills finished and requires another healer. But she is okay for boss. And i never maked the wind gumi because im lazy and do not want to skill her up so i use the wind archer who is not terrible either. She needs excellent runes though which is a problem.
I could see pung used in an early GB 10 team if pulled early. S2 blocks beneficial effects, great for the boss. S3 could be used on the waves leading up to the boss, just need a galleon for it to work. Haha but better stuff to use that could safer for an early team for that floor
This video actually made me laugh thanks bro keep up the great work, but I have a complaint what's up with all them ADs... 5 ads bro in your video that's crazy felt like this 23 min went for almost an hour -.-
When I bring Woosa, he's not on my team to immunity/cleanse although the immunity is nice if the debuff attack does cut in. He's there for double buffs + shield to get +3 on Baleygr. But then again, I rarely run R5 in pubs any more as my one of my alts is fine enough to take the 3rd slot.
Oh yeah Atenia also a support unit that attack breaks and heal blocks. Heals on 3rd skill but also additional heal with heal block. Would have better stats than colleen too but yeah doesn't have the attack buff colleen provides. & Colleen likely lands the buffs more.
The boss’ main damaging skill ignores buffs except endure. He also strips and increases his attack for every buff he stole. You’re just feeding him stacks
The boss strips all buffs and heals by the amount that he strips. Colleen is better. Bigger heal, attack buff up all the time, and also brings a heal block
@@RiftyLuca 1 unit cleance dont do a thing, if u rly need more heals just bring bella,... actualy i used Ariel just to keep my team alive, and still second team need chasun to survive,...
I’m not going to lie, I use Ariel on my second team as a tank and primary healer since I have Colleen on my main team. He may not be that effective, but he works and he keeps my team alive. (I’m not going to build a second Colleen for raids lol)
"Dias", lol You're still fkn Awesome dude! Ever thought of a kitkat, pooping strawberries? The FLAVOR!!!!!! (okay no more drinking for this guy) But serious note...... verde in Raid? I see this all the time..... Yay or Nay?
Boss brings Oblivion -> Verde becomes useless. Also, he brings 0 debuffs to the table and doesn't do that much damage usually. He is bad, don't bring him. Only passive-reliant monsters you want in raids are Darion and Dias.
Hey JewBagel! Been watching your videos for years and you’re such a great figure to have in the community! It bugs me to hear that you think that individuals aren’t listening when you provide them with knowledgeable information that can be used to improve their own game :/. You aren’t talking to a rock I promise! People really hear you ☺️. You don’t have to be nice all the time. Be stern! Information in this game is so valuable. Lacking that information can be the difference between you loving the game or hating it and moving on to something new. I know it took me some time lol. But yeah ☺️ long story short.... Be more assertive when providing information and have a higher exception for those viewing your content. Some people listen to learn. Others just want attention 😂. Weed them trolls out! And keep doing what you’re doing. We love you ❤️💯
Unless I am wrong, he has been talking about R5 raid. he is just stressing that some unit does not make sense in R5. it is like bringing a flower monster to R5, you can but it does not make much sense. Its like bringing ramagod to b10, fun but not efficient. Also, important to noob to know what monster to build if they plan to go Raid or R5. Imagine building rina and chow and find it is not efficient for Raid R5...... TIme to rebuild more 6 Star.
I'm surprised I didn't see conrad in this list for guys you should bring. He has an 820% multiplier for his third skill. Put him on rage and blade and he could do a number on enemies on rift. Wind anubis is also good. His revival skill allows him to just increase his attack by 100% when coming back so if it stacks he could have about 4K attack when it is maxed out. I use wind anubis on vampire runes.
I'm gonna be real here for a sec, I THOUGHT that "HP Proportionate damage" was talking about monsters like Warbear, Beast Monk, or others of that same kind
I’m guessing they use these weird picks because 1) they have their best runes. Like the pungbaek you used for the first example, it probably has his best runes and is his highest damage unit. 2) they don’t have anything better built/runed up. Take Rina for example not many people new people now will 6* a Darion and skougal is dependent on pulling him and ask YD how hard it was to get him. 3) they aren’t strong enough to be there so they do what they can and depend on others to carry them. That’s why woosa would be there. Woosa has shield, heal, is tanky, and immunity. 4) they have no idea what their doing, get carried so doesn’t really matter
and this is exactly the issue. you don't just go matching public r5 parties when you're not ready and expect to be carried. that's for private rooms where your friends/guildies are willing to carry you. there's a reason there are multiple raid levels; they're there to cater to people who don't have the optimal units/stats for higher levels of raids.
What do You think about vampire/def Ragdoll as frontline? hits not bad when on low HP, thus self heals and also if only is not oblivioned speeds up the team significantly.
Soha is an amazing Cleanser for 3rd skill can be a sheild tank on the front line. Freeze doesn't work but can still do big damage. 2nd Awakened wind Pixie is Glancing slow buffs and atb reduction I feel she is under valued. It's about value monsters with good runes. Having mons that don't "help" actually hurts you
so i dont use woosa, but i do use velajuel. good front line tank, immunity and cleanse, plus his second skill does good damage if it crits. only on woosa part so idk if you mentioned him but figured i would anyway.
How do you feel about Felleria (Light Dryad)? Cleanse that transfers debuffs to the boss, passive that shields or heals the entire team each turn, ATB reduction.
I use her, darion and XF anavel frontline, works like a charm and i feel like she reduced the rune requirements for R5 for me, love her and she is not even skilled up yet, just 1 skill up in skill 3
I once raided with a person who brought mo long in front. Asked and said that he saw the fire and wind one used as front but he didnt have em so used water instead. XD
Yo bagel just wanted to ask for a first team what combination of roles do u need in ur team like 1 dps is enough or do i need 2 maybe 1 cleanser or 2 I tried bastet skogul bella front (over 25khp and 1.2 def each) and brandia mihyang lisa back and it isn't there yet but also the two cleansers are not skilled up so it explains a bit why it's not working
So what you think about Bastet? Solid Front Line...Def Leader Skill...Sustain with Shield...Atk Break + Def Break + Glancing + Heal Break Debuffs....yeah she doesnt really do some dmg, but isn't she actually usefull for front line? Here my Team: FL: Bastet, Chasun BL: Xiao Lin, Delphoi, Hwa, Colleen Is solid, but I guess to much heal? Any suggestions? Got every nat4 except Diaz....and got a build Lui Mei...but kinda don't know where to use her or if I should use her. + Brandia available as well...but no other strong nat5
what about Feng on front row? Gret defence, retaliation, armour break and team heal...Abigail on dps...got some nice armour break as well as atack gage reduction on 2 attacks with multiple hits...Arang has huge nuke with multiple debuffs and sustain with shield.
Hum... I was planning to use this team... Front : Delphoi; Darion, Briand // Back : Mihyand, Lisa, Colleen ... So should I remove Briand ? (Res lead, Anti heal, break att, revive) and what should I put instead then ? Of course, I don't have Dias
@@lakuronekobaka3951 she's fine if you dont have any replacment, big heals and easy to rune, but if you can take any other healer that does anything else besides heal then its a good replacement to praha, mihyang, chasun, colleen, and even bella is better there Those 4 can bring something else to the table, nice glancing or atk buff or atk break and healblock and def break
I'm afraid to go passed r2... mostly because I haven't yet 6 starred any of my raid units, but also because I don't feel like I have the "optimal" comp. This video helps a little bit, but I still don't feel confident in my choices. The big one that gets me is you've said that any KFG will work... and yet I've read any KFG but water is trash for raids. I'm lucky enough to have water on my alt, but I only have fire and (access to when fused) wind on my main. Either of those better than Su or Ran for dps?
