Universities are overrated - it's well known that most professors suck at teaching. RU-vid is a better teacher than all of them. Ninja Nerd case in point.

@@NinjaNerdOfficial Hi Zach, I have a problem understanding why a certain disease is causing a particular type of metabolic acidosis if chloride involvement is not mentioned in the explaination....why does early kidney failure results in normal anion gap MA and not high anion gap MA since you didn't mention the gain of chloride in the explaination you gave.

Amazing video. Can someone explain why in type 1 renal tubule acidosis, we have non-ionic gap metabolic acidosis, because there's no drop in bicarbonate levels but an increase in H+ (acidic load)

Thank you for this! Amazing. Could you look into thiamine deficiency or functional thiamine deficiency (enzymatic etc) and lactic acidosis related to the metabolism of glucose?
