Metal Arms 2 Was Cancelled!? 

It's been more than 15 years but I'm still hoping for a sequel. Seriously Metal Arms! is a masterpiece, it has a great gameplay, story, universe, designs (& level designs), etc. It's a robot game with a unique atmosphere that I never found in any other game.

I grew up with Metal Arms, and now there not gonna release a sequel. Sad face

Old news sierra entertainment was pretty much destroyed by Activision and blizzard metal arms 2 needs a kickstarter

You know I'm gonna say this... Metal Arms is the best robot shooter game ever especially if this game was on a higher update like on Xbox1 or if ever higher. What do you guys say why don't we recommend this game to the developers... you know like we miss this game and we want more 👍😁

Metal arms was my childhood. I played it nonstop. So many good memories are tied with it. Specifically the GameCube version. I really wish they made a second one.

I think that if they were to ever pick up Metal Arms, they’d probably remaster the first game. That way if it succeeds in selling, they’d be able to go on with Metal Arms 2 with everyone knowing about it.

I'm honestly sad that words will never properly express how much I loved this game. I will forever remember how hard me and my sister would laugh playing multiplayer. We would break our gun arms to where you couldn't aim with them and fire randomly at each other western shootout style. xD

Wow this video was amazing. I didn't see these cool concept arts. This makes me more sad that we didn't get Metal Arms 2. The Drouds look so cool. If this game was made now,it be amazing.

Why do I feel like I'm the only one who remembers this game?

Was probably the publisher they contracted with that screwed us out of a sequel. Maybe if we make a bunch of noise where Swinging Ape and their new publisher would likely see it they'll look into it once more?

I also grew up with this game and I've always dreamed of a sequel... Sad that the company dosent really exicst anymore "SwingApes"

DUDE I JUST REALIZED THAT METAL ARMS WAS THE FIRST GAME TO HAVE A BATTLE ROYALE (the droids fighting each other and you mission you or 9:52 in the video)

Played this game while i was in highschool, when i had my original xbox, the one thing i hoped that would be more explained were the morbots

Does anyone know the story behind this game getting the green light to Xbox Originals if there is one?

I was messaging Steve Ranck a while back (2015 or so I think) and he said that he's been asking for permission to make the 2nd one, but no luck yet. I don't think anything has changed, but he still definitely wants to make it just as much as the fans.

It's honestly saddening that this game doesn't get the recognition or support it truly deserves. I hope that, by some chance, this game will get brought up again and put in for a sequel or even a remaster.

This game was my childhood, and I recently played it on an emulator. So the nostalgia is hitting me like a brick and the cliffhanger they left on is probably one of the worst cases of blue balls I've ever had. All the information they left would make a kick ass sequel. Like the morbots being the masterminds behind everything and Glitch and Corrosive being brothers. But I've legit given up hope for a sequel, it's 2020 and the game is not as known as it should be, our only hope is for a fan game and I even doubt we'll get that. If we ever get a sequel, I'll sell my child for it.

What if somebody bought the rights to this game and just made one

One creator (Steve Ranck) tried and failed to get the IP from Activision, and tossed around the idea of a crowdfunding for the IP rights but went nowhere. This sucks so much, this game has so much character and clever writing and unique gameplay that released today, would probably sell way better than it did in 2004

So many games from the original xbox that should be remastered or have a sequel Bloodwake, Brute force, Crimson skies, Mech Assault.

What a shame. Metal Arms is one of those golden forgotten gems many didnt knew. It was my very first xbox game. I got it from my grandmother cause it wanted GTA but it was for adults. So i got a game for kids. I absolutely loved it and played the shit out of it for many years. Also the multiplayer with friends was beautiful. I loved the humor and the music. Imagine how insanely good a new Metal Arms would be with modern technology.

At this point I’m not really sure it’s going to be a sequel per say, it might just be a complete reboot. Which at the same time wouldn’t be that bad of an idea.

In all honesty if I had the money I would totally attempt to make this game with the original voice actors (Assuming they are still around). I wouldn't care if blizzard tried to sue me all I care about is finishing what was started all those years ago. I have a pretty good idea about how and where the story is going if I was to make it as with the information you provided about the script for the story of MA2 but also the secret cutscene you can unlock in metal arms glitch in the system after you get a specific number of chips. The cutscene was of a droid patrol 4-6 d4oid miners and one of those big guys like the guy you saved in The scrap yard. Can't remember his name. Anyway the droids with the big guy were wandering underground or in some sort of building and one by one some if the droids were being picked off and then after a few of the droids plus the big guy remained it was revealed that they were being ambushed by Morbots (Although they are not named in the cutscene it was fairly obvious that they were not Mils. And they weren't droids ether so it was awesome that the original devs added that in the time they made the first game. Yeah I wish for this game to make a comeback at some point. I even went as far as to email blizzard studios about this at least once but the email they provided wasn't valid. If only I could contact one of the lead developers of blizzard to let him know what type of gold mine they were sitting on for all these years.

i wanted to see what the Morbots looked like and was doing i mean their city was to me the best and at the time more difficult place to be on max difficulty (Nuts Of Steel)!

Man I was trying to play this with a my friends on an emulator but all the cutscenes don’t work it’s so sad bc we use to play this game a lot when he had a gamecube. Dose any one know the best way to emulate this game bc it’s really unfortunate that none of the cutscenes work any more.

Metal Arms holds a special place in my heart. This game is the most underrated game I’ve ever played. The time and energy I put into beating this game and then finding all its secrets will never be forgotten. There is a discord group for MA 2 feel free to join it. It’s a game that if you were lucky enough to play that set a bar for that era’s standards. While I wish to see a Metal Arms 2, it’s unlikely to happen. R.I.P. Glitch.

Allies vs the axis during ww2. Nazi's had all these sophisiticated weapons and droids where literally just miners with not as many upgraded units as the mills.

I still hate to death that simon says segment. It was so strict as to be infuriating. ...and then there's that stealth section a bit afterwards. I still haven't beaten that bit. Part of why I still have the game and my PS2. Also, idk if anyone else had this issue on PS2, but Krunk I think it was, when he says fuck the bleep is mismatched. So, he'd go, "He's some kind of fucking-BLEEP jobbie." for example.

I remember playing it I was like 12 y old, I had it on PS2 best memories ever on a game the universe was magical has a kid, I was literally living the story like it was real, it was quite something oh my god, I miss this tiny robot, I miss the story, feel like it's a part of my life I will always remember, I will find a way to play it again I don't know how, anyway iam happy this game happened greatest memories on a video game for me has a little boy it was magical
