It's funny you say you feel Tech N9ne. Here in KC where he's from our rock/metal station 98.9 always promotes his shows. They've had him on a few times. He really does have a great blend of musical styles.

If i had to put it into words, Tech N9ne has a rap style that has the energy you'd find in a hard rock/metal song and though it is clearly still rap, you can't help but see the difference from other more prevalent rap styles.

Since Hallowen is coming up, you should do the song "Zombie." It's E-40 featuring Tech 9 and Brotha Lynch Hung. I don't think you have done much horrorcore rap. Brotha Lynch Hung is one of the best at the style.

Man, you gotta check out Rittz if you like this. White dude from Atlanta can spit bars and ride a beat like nobody else in the rap game. He was signed to Tech N9ne's label until he recently started his own label. In my opinion, he's the best out. Another planet type shit. Check out Terminally I'll, MVP, The Formula, For Real, Bounce, In My Zone, they're all good for the most part bro. Really hope you check dude out, he's a beast.

Just to go on your point about what you say about how you should have been introduced to Tech N9ne first, he does do so many styles, hes always experimenting, he actually named his record label, Strange Music, after The Doors because he loved Strange Days. He actually did a song you should check out called Strange 2013 which he did with the assistance and permission of Robbie Krieger, Ray Manzarek, and John Densmore. It has Jim Morrisons vocals sampled into it for the hook/chorus. You might enjoy that track

Sorry about the late reply on this one. Just watched it. Been feeling tech for a long time now. Saw him in concert here in NZ a couple years ago, hes amazing live. I love heavy metal and rock too, check out Straight out the gate ft Serj Tankian & Wither ft Corey Taylor. Great "fusion" songs.

the word i would have used at the end of your video where you couldn't find one, is EMOTION. i'm a old school metal head as well, but more times then not you can hear tech9 , or a whole list of others like him coming from my home or vehicle. any music that sparks emotion in me, regardless if hip hop metal or a lil country, i consider it to be good music. have you listened to minithin?

A cool song to react to, is Eight Mile Road ft. 2Pac - Traffic Jam. The bass line is smooth AF and Pac has a great verse. Another really good one to react to is Q-Tip & Busta Rhymes - Wild Hot. That one has a great bass beat also.
