Am I the only person impressed that Dirty has learnt so much about Rap/Hip-Hop he knows what a Dre Beat is... Not only knows what it is but can actually recognise it over other producers... Right on man! lol 👌😂😃

That's the late Roger Troutman who perfected the "talkbox" with his group Zapp in the 70s and 80s. He collaborated with Dre and 2pac on his song.

The way Dirty’s face lights up any time Pac starts his verses is amazing. Dirty is a true fan of Pac! Even though he doesn’t seem to be the type to be a hip Hop fan, this just proves anyone can be moved by hip hop and fall in love with it. It bridges different cultures together!

Some notes: -The man in the glasses with dreads is funk legend George Clinton, just look Parliament, Funkedelic, or P-Funk. For his solo work you can start with "Atomic Dog". -The man using the talk box is the late Roger Troutman, frontman of the iconic funk/electro band Zapp. His music is definitely worth a listen, too. -This isn't part 2, technically that would be "To Live and Die in LA". The video ended the way it did to set up the remix which has its own video on RU-vid.

I think it's funny that my stepdad, who is strictly into 1970s and 1980s classic rock, absolutely LOVES this song. Whenever he was flicking through the stations and it was on, he'd turn the volume up all the way. I asked him about it one day, and he said "It's good, so I like it." XD

Even after hearing these tracks over a hundred times I still often get goosebumps. Your emotions, in my mind, are expected and appreciated! I once read that a common connection among Tupac's fans is a feeling of hopelessness. I can't speak for the masses, but I would wager a large part of his popularity stems from his ability to stir something inside of those who are down. Reaction request: Tupac's "High Til I Die"

I'm not sure if there was a comment about this already but you were a little off on the talkbox. The output is the audio pressure sound wave, it goes out the tube into the musicians mouth and then the sound is picked up by the mic, the second audio jack is a passthrough so the instrument audio can be passed clean as well. Joe Walsh uses a ton of TalkBox as well, you can make your own with a filter, some padding, a guitar amp, and some plastic 1/4" hose.

That is one of my favorite Pac verses! His delivery was amazing! You can feel his passion! Btw Pac dissed Dre (per Suge’s request) and till this day Dre hasn’t mentioned much about Pac. A few years later Roger Truoutman (the guy in the talk box) was killed by his brother! Try listening to the original only cause I like the beat on the original more than this one!

well, I'm back again on your channel with some information about the song, the beat Dre used on this song comes from a Joe Cocker song from the 78 or 79, Woman to Woman... the song featured in several movies, Mad Max being the first one and it was a party banger for so many years for Dj's around the world.
