Do engineered drawings and calculations come with the barn when I purchase it from you? Can I have a living space in a portion of the structure? How long is the typical wait time from ordering, to having the structure go up?

A big thing to keep in mind is your offsets. For example in my town I had plenty of space on my property however I actually had to be 35’ back from my front property line and I had to be the distance of the highest point of the building for my side set backs. Now this sounds like no big deal but I actually had to pay to get my land surveyed just o find my pins and know exactly where I could build!!! So once the surveying is done and the permit is approved thats $1500.00 spend before even breaking ground. But now my 21x27 project has begun but wow my best advice is talk to the town before you start

building dept says I can only build 1/2 the heated area of my house for a accessory bldg. Any Idea on how to get around that. Jacksonville fl.

Do you stand by your installation since I'm sure it's sub contracted out to local builder's. If sub contractor does address issues will you be responsible to fix issues if sub contractor won't. In order to get a building permit in my area we need to supply drawings or blueprints with permit application. Is there a way to get those to give to county to see if they'll even allow the building to be built. You answered someone that asked about drawings and told them only after building is purchased. What happens if building is purchased and county won't give permit to build it. Is money refunded

Sebring Florida as a primary dwelling shell for an off-grid home? possible? My Minimum dwelling size is only 750sqf .. Anybody been through the process of permitting as a primary dwelling in Florida? My county building department said this: " Wind rating is not all that has to be considered. Exterior walls must meet the requirements of Chapter 6 of Florida Building Code (FBC) Residential. The roof assembly will have to meet the requirements of FBC Residential Chapter 9. Insulation type and “R” value will be determined by FBC Energy Conservation calculations. An energy form will need to be completed and submitted with the building application. Interior wall finish will need to meet the requirements of FBC Residential Chapter 7. You are not required to connect to electric service." I'm interested in permitted way to to attached furring strips and insulate to Florida Building code standards. Something an engineer can draw into your plans Ideally.
