Watching him performing concert now is like a new dose of fresh air and he looks and sounds so damn good. It’s like the 90s all over again without the drugs and alcohol. So happy to see him sober and back on his feet.
Saw Manson solo live for the 3rd time 2 weeks ago. He was on his game and sounded amazing. Genuinely looked happy on stage and interacted positively with the crowd.
I also saw manson in 2019 at Wembley in London. His leg was in a brace after a prop gum fell on top of him on stage . He was a lot larger and under the influence of a lot of substances on that tour. So it's amazing to see him sober and healthy again .
I love that he just did a vid with his new band. Its a huge statement in his status, he has people around him now that work WITH him to help the music grow. He looks like he has put a lot of work into himself, he has lost weight, his live performances are insanely good.
The new band line-up is Reba Meyers from Code Orange and Piggy D. on bass (ex-Rob Zombie) as the new additions, and Gil Sharone on drums and Tyler Bates both returning from previous live iterations. If you guys were at the Rob Zombie/Marilyn Manson show at the Moda Center in 2019, I was there with you, though I was way up in the nosebleeds. Cheers!
haha I was there too. Were you my neghbor or at a diff section? Been a while since I seen his show, I had to use my cellphone to see his iconic lipstick! I love him from 08-to now but Imma big ol Spooky Kids and Daisy fan too!
Hope to see you react to more Manson! I saw him 16 times since 2003. I’m a huge fan! Shotgun Messiah is awesome! I’m a huge Skold fan as well and met him twice and saw him do 3 solo shows.
I was a fan of Manson before I even heard the music (I lived in Tampa for a number of years and worked with local death metal bands in the 80s and 90s). I used to see ads in the local 'zines and papers for The SPOOKY KIDS, which later became Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids! Never saw them live though; fast forward several years later when I moved to New Orleans, the Manson band were living there and recording 'Antichrist Superstar' with Trent Reznor. On several occasions I had great conversations w/ Marilyn in one of the local bars (still had not heard their music). When 'Antichrist Superstar' eventually dropped, I was floored and have been a huge fan ever since! Glad to see he is back after so much bullshit in his life over the past five years! Nice reaction!
