25th and Van Buren. Really? I didn't notice my hip. :) They are going to do some high-end stuff in there. It's already sectioned out as apartments. I have good faith it will be really nice and an asset to the area.

My aunt and cousin lived there in the early 90's there used to be chandeliers throughout and that greenish grey victorian style wallpaper is the same as it was then. The very first apartment you walked into with the big windows in the living room was theirs. One night when I was staying over. I got up in the night and walked down the hall, standing between the living room and kitchen. Over by the window was an end table. I saw an organ grinder monkey with the vest and little hat sitting on the table facing out the window. Soon as I clocked what it was it turned around and grinned at me. That's when I realized it wasnt actually on the real table. It was on the table in the reflection of the window pane, but the table itself was empty. And just like that he vanished. I stood there staring for I dont know how long. Intense, I'll never forget that one.
