Today RelicManMatt and I explore some new farmland in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. We know that there is Civil War activity in the area and we hope that the soldiers either camped or fought across the farm and woods we plan to search. Please join us and follow our exploration.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my RU-vid "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Smart guy your hunting with again today he invites you as often as possible so he can learn the ways of the chigginator (I’m guessing the second spot was one you knew of or picked since the finds improved😬) so carving of bullets was a way to pass time or did they make things out of them? 15 cents not bad but being where a camp was is very cool we don’t have those out here in Arizona that I know of. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one 👍🏼👊🏼

I think the smaller holes on that tree where from a woodpecker. We have those all over our trees. But the bigger rings of damage where probably where that tree grew over some ropes or chain that where holding a deer stand to a tree. They looked perfectly spaced out.
@randlerichardson5826
@randlerichardson5826 Год назад
Wood peckers do that to make the insects or worms under the bark make them move they can hear the insects moving and peck into the tree to get them then is one reason they do that to

Aloha Chigg. Roundish stones not immediately in a creek bed have been carried there. Many in Hawaii with smooth sides, and some flat and smooth on 1 side what I call lap stones. Maybe a foot in diameter so someone seated could grind or make paste. A Samoan friend said some of my finds were probably for massage. How they fit the hand tells how they were used. Thanks for being there!
@JoeGirgente
@JoeGirgente Год назад
It's yellow-bellied sapsuckers that make those holes on trees in the east. They feed somewhat on the fluids that leak from the trees but also on the bugs attracted to and stuck in said fluid.
@alfonsoacereto8558
@alfonsoacereto8558 Год назад
Woodpeckers put holes in trees and in wood siding and facia boards to get bugs to live in or lay eggs in the wood for later retrieval, kind of like filling a pantry for later.
@markgreen4321
@markgreen4321 Год назад
There are 4 kinds of woodpeckers that are sap suckered. They actually drink the sap. It is the sap suckered that circles the tree drilling holes.
