Great finds Mr. I'm always impressed with what you find. You certainly do your research and spend the time out there to score like you do. Keep up the great hunts and videos. Thank you
That new Garrett is doing great. Wish my machine had a telephone jack. Been cleaning my rare silver with a grinder and ice pick . Cleaning up nice. No guns found? Go CUBS!
Well done bro! With the July heat fresh drops should start showing up. I have not gotten on gold yet in the summer season, sitting on 3 from this spring. Good luck and hh, Sebastian.
Seems that the high k rings are always European. I only found one 22 k ring . Mark seems to find a 22 or 24 k ring every year!! Been watching your videos. Keep up the great work getting the gold ..
The extreme scoops. Never had an issue of cracking yet. I wouldn’t recommend the 2 piece handle because the rivets come loose. I just had to put bigger stainless rivets in mine and so far it’s holding up.
Dude I've been a subscriber 4 years. Your finds are amazing! May I be so bold to inquire what is a telltale sign to go detecting on the opposite shore of Lk MI South Haven to St. Joseph? I struggle reading the beach. Ive hit one cut in St Joseph like a hard bottom meandering stream under foot while the rest of the sand was mushy. It was there got 45 minutes then washed in. Wtf am I overlooking? I love the coin cleaning tips, Garrett spoofs and tranny fluid keep your irreverence my friend! 😅😅
We look at wind direction and speed.. if it’s consistent for 3 to 4 days straight then, depending on the wind direction we will hit certain beaches first due to their location. Sometimes a cut doesn’t mean the sand is totally stripped. There might be a few inches of it covering the hard bottom. You always have to move from beach to beach. If you’re digging black coins or crusty coins then you’re in one. Some cuts don’t last long because sand is always moving.like you had just experienced. If you go to a beach and don’t find one move on to the next. Don’t waste time at one beach that’s sanded in. Have a game plan with several beaches and get familiar with them and check each one. Best time for cuts is actually in the fall and winter months but always look at the wave and wind reports. That will give you an idea that a cut will be somewhere.
Also you might want to check out terry shannons video. He’s on the coast but the same principle applies to the lake. He’s a bit more in detail explaining everything on video and he’s dead on with everything he explains. Here at the lake wind speed and direction consistently for 3 to 4 days will always expose hard bottom somewhere so good luck out there.
@@hiluxyota7200Thanx a million for the insight and all that you do. I admire you greatly because you aren't a poser looking for sponsors but the real deal. I'm certainly very impressed with all the videos you've done through the years but cannot overemphasize how much I love the fact that you do this because you love to do it....not for endorsements like so many else.
