Been watching your videos for a long time, awesome channel! I do alot of land detecting in Massachusetts, and have had some good success near water. I prefer to find the old stuff though. Problem is, most of the real old spots are undocumented. Keep up the great hunting!
Yes , this one definitely has me fooled. I just can’t tell compared to other stainless and white gold rings I have found in the past. Will take it to have it tested with a machine someday.

Thanks. Metal detecting videos nowadays for most is more about promoting detectors or selling merchandise , or becoming a clown show instead of what it use to be 10 years ago. I’m old school and like to keep it simple and show what I dug without all the Mickey Mouse… I have display cabinets that I keep everything in. I save all the antique gold and costume jewelry and everything else I found in old swimming sites in its own display like a time capsule. All the old coins on land and farm fields I have display cases with everything on display. The modern gold I find I do sell when the gold prices are up. The antique gold I would never sell.

Old swimming spots are getting harder to find that are detectable out here. Spent half the day Saturday trying to find one and when we located it there was 6 foot of soft sand that got washed up. Another one last year was thick mud bottom.
The ring that was a low tone, no markings, looked as if it was made by a home jeweler, for him or herself, so didn't see a need to mark it? My uncle was a home jeweler and hardly ever marked his jewelry. Those 14K puffed hearts were pretty popular in the early 80s. You did alright at that swimming hole. : ) Looking forward to more booty from you.
It might be. It does have that gold look with the loop. But it did seem to scratch a bit different. Have to have it tested with a machine this one is really hard to tell compared to other stainless and white gold rings I have found in the past.

I had it at a park for the first time and I was having trouble with the square nails. I still have to get that part figured out if it’s even possible. It hits hard on small low signals at the beaches for gold. Other than the faster recovery speed with the manticore, I think my ctx will out perform it on trashy parks, but I just have to is it more on land to figure it out more
