The Hoover Boys - Hahaha-I just told a newbie on this comment section to watch your vids 😁- he was wanting to know how to take care of your finds when out in the field. Small Detector World 🌎
This was fun to watch. I don't really care whether you're doing this for fun, research or profit. What a great way to spend some time outdoors with your friends. I just might have to give this a go.
You are giving me goosebumps. After months of researching, I think I finally found the field that was one of the first settlements in my area. It had mills, stores and about 60 people living there. On top of that there were a few civil war skirmishes there as well. Making the drive in about an hour to secure permission. One is a hayfield and the other is about to be plowed. I'm so jazzed!!! BTW love your videos, keep on keeping on.
Great video Brandon, very well put together, love the editing! Gratz on finding such a sweet hot spot and being able to keep going back. You are pulling some fantastic finds out of there! Keep it up!
Really great videos just found your channel and love your stuff. I do a lot of hunting in Louisiana for civil war artifacts but haven't made any videos in a while I have been helping my wife who has been fighting cancer. Thanks for making such great vids it has inspired me to get back out there and make some more :)
Very good for Idaho to find so many seated....i'm in Dallas, 5 year detecting lots...got two seated thus far....usually you need to be in the 13 original states to find them on old homesteads.
Wow, great video and some AWESOME finds. You have to go back next year and I want to go with you. Lol. No really I do. but I guess I will just have to watch it on RU-vid. Great finds guys and as always, take care and HH.
Just found your channel and loving it, new subscriber here. So just got to ask it looks like you guys are around Boise? If so that is cool I am over on the east side of the state by Idaho Falls. I am looking to get into metal detecting, we have a old stone home on 10.5 acres built at the turn of the century and it is amazing the stuff I find just doing work around the yard. Thanks for the great videos.
Yup! Here in Boise! Actually was thinking about heading your way this Wednesday. Email me at BrandonNeice@TreasureMtnDetectors.com and I can chat with you about what machine might suit you best for our area
That has to be every diggers dream come true, and to think you can go back and re-live the whole thing year after year and find new stuff each time. Now what did you say the GPS coordinates are:) I have to say the filming and narration of this video is excellent. Thanks and HH
Great day guys. Did you ever figure out what the decorative metal clip type items are? I believe one guess was a woman's garter clip. I too have one and found it in my driveway, same type, different design with metal clips on the backside. Sort of a fragile item so maybe it was something for women's clothing, hatband clasp?????? Any ideas??
When would you be available to visit? Our club meetings are the 3rd Thursday of every month in Tacoma WA at 6:00pm. Our meetings are held at Sizzlers. Our club hunts are the 3rd weekend, and changes from Saturday to Sunday every other month. What do you charge to come to a meeting and give a presentation?
I live in Mountain Home and work in Boise. I picked up metal detecting a couple years ago. I haven't found any coins older than modern coins. It's one of my dreams to find 1800's coins around here, but it's so hard to know where to go. I guess just pick a random place in the desert. I tried looking up old maps on google to find old settlements that don't exist anymore, but I can't find anything other than maps of parcels that are currently on people's private property. If anyone has any suggestions as to where to start, I'd very much appreciate it. I'm willing to put in the work, but I'm striking out trying to find old maps.
maybe I should start going down to southern Idaho more. Oh I got a special place in Idaho full of old abandoned houses, its a very very small town called lone pine idaho
Hi! Exiting! You know what I would love to see? (Understanding your need to keep some locations secret) An interview of, e.g., the farmer, who gave you permission. His thoughts, own finds, maybe a bit of history... Thanks, guys!
Brandon, love your videos and your book The Metal Detecting Bible, it goes with me everywhere. Do you sell your hats with the Dirt Digging in America? If you ever get to Washington you would be more than welcome to stop by the Puget Sound Treasure Hunters Club. Thanks Greg Michael, President PSTHC
I’d love to visit! Glad you like the book! I’m fresh outta hats but hopefully I’ll have more soon? PM and let’s set up a date to have a presentation at the club!
@@DrTones24k hey I live west of blackfoot and theres an old stage coach road near my house and an old stage stop near would you guys want to come check it out
Check out my book! It covers that question in great detail and gives you extremely easy ways to find out that don't involve going to the assessors office.
+DrTones24k just bought my first metal detector a few weeks back and although I've basically only used it in the coin mode I'm hooked for sure!!! thanks for the guidance, just ordered the book!
