Part 2 and the new coil starts finding deeper targets, l have visited this area to test out the new coil knowing there is some deep ground here from past finds but this nice patch starting to form is an unexpected surprise considering its only week 2, hope you enjoy, cheers NM.

A few experienced gold hunters been telling me you can't find gold with a cheap metal detector bt I've seen some ppl on RU-vid find good gold with cheaper brands, mine cost about $159 lol bt it has pin point, today I'm going to Dunolly in Victoria it be the first time to really test the machine, watching vids like yours teaches me things, if I am lucky enough to find anything significant, ill certainly let you know 😇
@TheNuggetMagnet
@TheNuggetMagnet 5 лет назад
Good on you mate, remember to dig every target even when your brain is saying it cant be gold its too loud, recheck your hole after removing target because gold is sneaky and will hide under rubbish deeper in the ground and if its got your name on it then of course you will find gold, Dunolly is a great area to start so best luck out there, have fun and l look forward to the results, cheers NM.

Love that you saw a day meteorite, a rare occurrence to see. When I was a kid I saw one come through the clouds a drizzly morning prelight hours when I was doing my paper route. An amazing moment we rarely experience! Looks like you are getting on some bigger pieces too! Thanks for the great content! Regards

It happened in an instant and took me a while to process, an after thought based on the colour was metal burning up as it entered our atmosphere, l have seen different metals burning blue/green in the fire and thought that might explain the bright green l saw, how awesome it would have been to catch that on film, however fortunately l did catch one mysterious night event l will soon upload, l mean really weird for me being out there in the bush with no clue as to what l was seeing, l look forward to an explanation and glad you enjoyed the vid, cheers NM.

I honestly think that the people who downthumb this video are the ameteurs that think they can buy all the latest gear and make millions in one outing. But they don’t realise you are just walking down the street picking up $20 notes $50 notes and the occasional $100 note. Love your vids mate, you keep picking up them lobsters.

The shape and the way it radiates back the metal detectors signal is what makes a difference. I think the flat thin ones can give bigger signals back at times more than a long one. It's been awhile.
@TheNuggetMagnet
@TheNuggetMagnet 5 лет назад
That's why going back over a patch at 90 degrees can uncover more targets, sweeping through the length of the nugget this time instead of across its narrow side which is easier to miss, cheers for the comment, NM.

@TheNuggetMagnet
@TheNuggetMagnet 5 лет назад
@@bedrockbennett1827 Nice pick up, that is cool and 8 grams in the pan, fantastic, you need those days and are well deserved, the chatter sounds more electro than mineralisation, mineralisation comes and goes and is ground specific, usually in patches whereas electrical will affect entire areas and is much harder to escape, there are places on this planet where electric fields will make your hair stand up so if your not seeing overhead power lines or radio towers and the problem is not just in that one area then go through the elimination process starting with power cord, connections, leads, etc, because there will be more gold where you found that speci, keep up the great work and best luck out there, cheers NM.

Absolutely. Watch NM here, (including his older videos), and WestOzAdventures, they use the Aus$10,000 GPZ 7000 and the GPX 5000 worth Aus$5000 and of course Minelab Gold. All these guys use these machines because they definitely pay their way :)

@@roysterfutrell8889, I have a GPX 5000 and a trusty old $50 detector I bought from Kmart over 15 ears ago. So far my $50 has found a couple thousand dollars more stuff than the GPX. What you really need to do is sort what you're going to be looking for. Maybe, for those smaller pieces of gold a MineLab SDC 2300 would be the way to go. Second hand they can be quite reasonable. If possible can you explain more about your thoughts, like when you said that’s the noise I like to hear, it would be great to understand more about why. To me they mostly sound the same. Also explaining your cool more and your previous detectors and what eventually led you to this coil/detector. Where to buy? Where to search? How to go a out permits etc. I love your videos!!
@TheNuggetMagnet
@TheNuggetMagnet 5 лет назад
Great comment, that noise l liked was a LOW/HIGH signal or an inverted signal as opposed to a HIGH/LOW, a LOW/HIGH indicates a deeper target which is a more exciting dig and normally a larger target, so l know l am about to get some good footage and a nice nugget, hence my favourite noise, the reason for the new coil is later technology, Rohan at Nuggetfinder Coils who l have never met but is always there to help recommended this coil, its 2" wider giving me more depth and with new wiring techniques proved to be super sensitive on the smaller pieces, l get a bit heavy handed with that edit button imagining people just want to see gold, l can start to throw in a bit more info, cheers mate, NM.

Must be a blessing to be digging in soft sandy ground, instead of the rocks. try to not eat all the flies else it will spoil your dinner, and how do they they inside your netting?
@TheNuggetMagnet

It is mate and l suspect quite deep in places, l doubt l will ever be finished there, flies in my breaky are sultanas and in my coffee they are choc bits or as you see you can swallow them whole, some are only 3mm long and get in small tears in the netting from trees, it amazes me that something that weighs nothing can navigate with ease in 40 knot winds, l love em, cheers NM.

Hi, that was a great morning, the detector is a Minelab GPX 4500, its old but still keen, l usually hunt out pending leases around Leonora or ask for permission to detect as long as l tell them what and where l find gold, a GPS is vital in most of these areas for safety, but great fun, exercise and experience, stay safe out there, cheers NM.
