theres competition for metal detecting the camps? what are you finding there. i have a friend down in oregon who does the same thing looking for tossed cellphones as we both own a lot of the old brick nokias. the closest i've come is finding the top of a ~2009/2013 android phone + speaker assembly in a park. things arent looking good for metal detecting here.. its getting cold cold cold and it may lightly snow tomorrow night and next week we may have a few inches. too cold to detect but at least there might be snow.
We have an arctic blast coming this weekend. It will not get above freezing for 3 days and nightly lows of 15 degrees. I surely will not be detecting for a few days during or after the cold snap. The soil usually turns to soup after a hard freeze like that.
I only used it maybe 10 times. That handle on the XTP is not ergonomic art all. I use the 10x5 to make it more comfortable to swing. I have to give that 10x5 back to my friend this week. I think I might sell the XTP and get a Simplex Ultra. Simplex Ultra is has much better ergonomics
I would have enjoyed this but the first 3 minutes you both just threw the garbage you found back on the ground!why not just have a bag for garbage.food for thought! that's all
